I hate how the show shows us everything instead of letting us put pieces together. Did we really need to see Butcher take the virus? Wouldn't it have been a bit more interesting if they took out that scene and just left the part where Hughie notices him gone and then sees the empty virus bottle? This season just felt so forced for some reason. The jokes seemed like they were written by AI. Literally the most bottom of the barrel tier of jokes, similes of "Wow, X smells like Y's bathroom" or "Man, sure glad we aren't "insert dirty sexual reference". It just felt like the comedy was extremely forced in to scenes that didn't need it. Not to mention having the obligatory degenerate sexual, substance abuse or gross scene in every episode. It made previous seasons look subtle and tame in comparison.
