After Dwan it's Walsh, but his segment is very short because, according to Bogdanovich, he decided to write his autobiography and thus stopped doing their interviews; their talks stop before 1926 (What Price Glory) and he mostly talks about his life as a cattle man in his late teens/early twenties. As for filmmaking, he doesn't say that many interesting things, this is the only screenshot i took, about how much of a pain in the ass the censors were back then.
>>220757245>And I can't pretend for a second he wasn't attractive. He was divine because he was ill, and I love people that are ill. He got a cold and he got at least three muffles on him. So everything that was attractive.Uhhhhhh???????

I've got a huge backlog of movies from a few eras I really need to catch up on, but at the same time I really wanna start The X-Files because it feels like it was basically made for me. :\

watching dreams for the first time and it feels like a lesser seijun suzuki movie weirdly enough. not that its bad, but it feels off. more like an experiment to dabble in the slightly surreal and dreamlikesby a director who is mostly very straightforward
