ALSO, things like Skeletor cutting the head off of Randors statue, oh by the way, they ALSO kill off Randor, right, because thats how the cartoon was, just a single mom queen, not him and her together on Eternia. Then at the end when He-man defeats Skeletor a wave of force blasts everything, destroying the 4 MALE statues at the entrance to Greyskull and then we cut to 6 months later where they are gone and everything looks like some DEI hire D&D painting with colors and flowers and a nice diverse cast. There's alot more but trust be it's bullshit. Only cool part was Lundgren Cameo and if you caught it, Karg from the original movie was also there. Save your money, they are 'subverting' everything now sneakily.

Even skeletor's cool factor was reduced by the fact that he came off as such a loser in every interaction, only to be an absolute menace in the very end.They could have leaned into the awkward social development aspect so much more instead akin to the Speed Racer movie, where Adam grows up stuck in earth and is misdiagnosed with ADHD or something and through his struggles he ends up developing and emotionally maturing into a therapist. They could have leaned into the apparently weird fantasy obsession with getting into fantasy video games or VR so that it seems like he somehow kept up some sort of fighting technique, instead of relying on brute strength magic that forgets the plot of him being under proficient in training already. And then him being a therapist amongst hopeless warriors and drunks could have been a way more emotional and human story.Anyways, for a fantasy movie the set design and visual effects kinda sucked ass until the very end, the lighting is so poor in almost every scene that's not pure CGI that it makes me hate it so much more.

I thought it was pretty good. The action scenes were surprisingly well done. My friend and his father complained about jarring tonal shifts and thought it was too violent for a kids’ movie, but I was entertained. My friend’s nephew thought the cyborg guy was too scary and freak out when the green good guy got melted into a puddle of goo.
