Morality is a result of the influence of God.
Immortality is the result of the influences of evil forces.
If any of you were really curious by nature, inclined towards the sciences and their methods, you could apply the scientific method to the field of religion, and by the numbers see there are more people who believe in God by evidence first hand spiritual experience than not. The debate is not if, but who, is God. The person with the highest current IQ on the planet believes Jesus is God. Islam cannot survive a debate with Christianity. Muslims are generally not intelligent enough to understand they are losing debates. They destroy their educational systems in the hunt for Jewish sorcery

You don’t find it ironic he died like a witch? Lived like a witch? Kept witches for company? It’s almost like the proto cia folded Christianity into its frame in an act of self preservation and corrupted it intentionally driven by the pursuit of worldly power and control. It’s kinda like Star Trek. TOS has some pretty good messages for humanity but then you have weird organized people like you claiming some stake or say in what Star Trek is, meanwhile you’re terrible people that don’t represent it well and tarnish it’s reputation

Revenge of the Nerd (singular)

The outcast of the thread, whom everyone has mocked relentlessly and called a faggot for years,, finally achieves his revenge by spamming every thread to the file limit with no context webm clips which, while technically on topic, are also most certainly spamming, trolling, and/or low quality posts.
The better question is why they're allowed to say up, the answer to which we can only surmise is a deep-seated hatred for /trek/ by those who render such decisions, probably because their boss told them they can't delete on topic generals because all engagement is good engagement.

I want something much smaller and discreet, like Picard's Personal Relaxation Light
>>
>>221379755
That was the most cringeworthy scene I've ever seen in any episode of Star Trek.
>>
>>221367403
I thought starfleet academy got cancelled. That's no hyperbole the worst show I've ever seen. Even worse than velma or bigmouth.
>>
>>221381214
its all cancelled
>>
>>221381214
It is, they bought in for two seasons, and were already producing and directing it before S1 aired. Just like Velma.

I'm very interested to see how much promotion Paramount will give them. Will they continue the facade of weekly episode releases, or just dump the whole season to be done with it? And there's still time to do another Section 31 and recut the final SNW season into a movie.
>>
Lower Decks is not good, nor is it even funny. It's banal, obnoxious, and subversive. It's buried in godawful "irony" and quirk chungus "humor". Its fans are retarded manchild söylennials or boomers desperately chasing their youth.
>>
>>221379666
i just checked and you're right. looking through the guests list just now is how I learned Doug Jones was in Star Trek

I can barely stand going to cons that are dominated by nutrek shit, especially Lower Decks.

I think that in 20 years we're going to look back on Rick and Morty clones the way we look at goth and emo music now. Full on cringe and secondhand embarrassment that people used to like this shit.
>>
What do we think of S7 Dax?
>>
>>221381885
what do you mean in 20 years? we're doing that now. Rick and Morty was a fad that's already over.

It's just so stupid - Trekkies tell me "but it's a love letter to Star Trek, mainly TNG!" but it's not, it's making fun of how quaint the 90s shows seem to us now. It's got a smugness to it that bothers me.
>Star Trek has always had comedy!
Comedy EPISODES. It didn't dominate the entire show. Trek always took itself seriously. Making an officially licensed parody has damaged the brand's reputation.

Cute but crammed into the focus of too many 'sodes in such a short period. Jadzia should've died before retaking the station in early S6 so Ezri's eppies could be spread out more.

Also I don't get why they reopen Dax/Worf for the Final Chapter arc.
>>

Dax should have been trashed as a character and dropped from the show

Recently rewatched Encounter at Farpoint. Troi's early characterization of her powers was interesting. Whenever she felt something she tended to embody the emotion and it seems to me like her character was purposed to narrate for aliens with no way to communicate verbally, like the giant space jellyfish in said episode. Kind of shame that in the following seasons they never really encountered many aliens incapable of verbal communication and the few times they did Troi was woefully underutilized anyway.

The Star Trek: Enterprise: Season 3, Episode 12, "Chosen Realm" seems to be a reworking of the Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS) Season 3, Episode 15, titled "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield.", whereas the endings of the conflicts in both episodes are very nearly identical.

Lol, Tasha Yar came from a criminally-impoverished rape planet when he was still at the helm. In spite of what he said in person, the Star Trek he depicted wasn't a universe where all of humanity evolved into weird space aliens like he alluded to in the novels that he himself decanonized, yet one where people have the option to chose something else over the status quo. If you want to live in the old system that has demonstrably failed instead of the holodeck cradle, you are allowed to do that in the Federation. That's why it's a utopia instead of an adaptation Brave New World.

Replicators can make infinite ice cream, as soon as one starts to melt throw it on the carpet, tread it in and order a new one. Toilets are also irrelevant, just drop a deuce wherever you are. The non-Starfleet related civilians aren't even aware of most of their advanced technology like Replicators. That's why you still have schlubs working as dishwashers in Sisko's restaurant. Most of Earth's population is still living like the present day, Starfleet just lies and claims every human is united and thinks and feels exactly the same.
