Discussion threadWhat did you think of it?I thought it was better than season one, though there were obvious flaws with it. There were some scenes that were really good and brought the whole season together. Other times it felt sloppy and rushed. The acting, writing, dialog, etc. Are all one step up from season one, but that's it. One step. I mean a little better, but not by much. I enjoyed my time watching it.

Watching with a friend currently and ngl the change to combine Aangs Earthbending training and the fight against the two Earthbenders into one scene was actually a pretty good change.

>>221375103Alright I'm 5 episodes through, I'll leave the last 2 for tomorrow. I like it, I think they've done a decent job at mixing things together to adapt book 2 in the limited episodes they have. The acting and characterization is a lot better than season 1 too. I'm a bit disappointed that Jin was cut (was the waitress supposed to be her?) and the lack of Lake Laogai so far but I'll reserve judgement on the latter until I've seen the last episodes since it feels like we are still heading there.

It's been a while since I watched the original but I recall he was obviously the bad guy from the start there, here it was a twist which was done quite well. Those unfamiliar with the source material could easily fall for the act like Aang did.
