Bimmy did a review of the Metroid series recently and he said in the first one it's really gay how there's no quick way to refill your health and you have to farm. Which is true, however once you get to the end you can farm the metroids and they drop a lot of health, so you don't have to farm for 20 minutes to get your health back up
