The only retards that hate on this are the hive mind faggots that post here

The CGI is fucking shit even for mid 2000s. It's surreal for a film with the budget to hire at least a few A listers.
>>
>>221850668
What parts had bad CGI? I just don't remember very well.
>>
verified kino, the game was too
>>
It came out when I was 10 and obsessed with horror movies, of course I loved it.

>>221850768

Yeah, great game, too. I used to play it with my friend Alex all the time.
>>
>>221848915
It was like junk food. Shit but enjoyable. Entertaining.
So, an Ok movie.
>>
>>221848915
Van Helsing was always a mediocre movie. It had everything on paper to be great. But its a case of a movie not being as good as the sum of its parts.
>>
Much better than the superhero slop of the past 15 years.
>>
>>221849787
be glad you don't live in a world with vampires

>be glad you don't live in a world with vampires

It was shit, but I still love it, lol (same with League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)
>>
>>221851684
the slop back then at least felt like real movie, we honestly didn't know how "good" we had it
>>
>>221848915
1. Kate didn't show enough skin.
2. Dracula was too faggy and unthreatening.
3. Too much CGI.
Despite these minor complaints, it was a fun movie. I would have liked to have seen a sequel.

To fuck yo mom erry night.
>>
>>221848915
It was trash. But it was the enjoyable kind of high effort schlock trash you can't help but love.
>>
absolute cozy kino
>>
>>221851497
Cool it with the antisemitism
>>
>>221848915
Crazy how the werewolves from this movie 20 years ago look better than any new CGI werewolf these days.
>>
>>221851684
Production design and aesthetics have fallen off so hard. Every movie 20 years ago looked amazing. Now its like everything is iphone bland jeetcore. What happens when you do demographic terrorism i guess, competency and artistic temperament shit the bed.

>Production design and aesthetics have fallen off so hard.
Reminds me of District 9 and how high quality that was.
For a South-African movie.
Turns out Hollywood is just lazy.
>>
>>221848915
Kate in that movie is the perfect woman.
>>
>>221851684
Both have Jeyckle/Hyde and Vampires kind of steampunk very similar films. Kate is sexo in this. I like the vamp chick in League too.
>>
How is it no movie since has had werewolf designs as good?
