Unpopular opinion: IU is overrated. Park Bo Young unironically has better performances.
Finished History of the Salaryman, enjoyed it immensely. Funny all the way through, full of twists, no wheel spinning. It's a cohesive blend of many things - comedy, corporate intrigue, melodrama, romance. Also educational in a sense since the schemes are based off various ancient stratagems. And the story is playing off of actual Chinese history (Yoo Bang = Liu Bang, etc). There are a couple bullshit moments but nothing too egregiousAll in all, would recommend to just about anybody

Agent Kim is one of the greatest Kdramas I have ever seen. If you told me Christopher Nolan had read the webtoon "Manager Kim" and was so inspired he needed to make an adaptation, I would sincerely believe you. The slow shots, the lighting, the sound holy shit. And could we forget the acting? No! Amazing all round. If there was a poll for greatest kdramas of all time, this would surely come right behind 마우스 at number 2.

It has a lot of elements that I find annoying in other dramas (love polygon thing, chaebol family drama, melodrama in my comedy, etc), but they are so well utilized here that it is entertaining instead of bothersome. While watching, Filing for Love specifically came into mind as the opposite case, its writer really could've learned a thing or 2 from the Salaryman.
