The Aegon sideplot is so slow, I don't know if it was worth including at all, plodding around in circles. Not only is it doing this but it's destroyed every character involved. Nobody is under any illusion now that Larys is nefarious genius moving pieces around and Tyland is just a guy that is there. Both would have been better served in KL and if the only thing they achieve with Aegon is moving him to Dragonstone, it would have been done better offscreen to serve as a Reek-like shock reveal when Rhaenyra inevitably flees back there
