It's not the mystery that disappoints meIt's the character assassination of Locke that doesSeason 1 Locke to me is one of the greatest TV characters of all time. Then the writers don't know what to do afyer he has a crisis of faith and he turns to shit
i also watched it first time this year; i mostly enjoyed it, the opening seasons were the strongest when it was a mystery survival show. when it went all "friends we made along the way" ending it completely undercut the stakes for me. i actually liked some of the island lore in the final season
