Just finished. lmao, fuck this movie. I had zero sympathy for these characters, they put themselves deliberately in dangerous scenarios, which causes a tragedy, and to get over it, they do that AGAIN, lol. And guess what, it causes another tragedy! Then the movie pulls one of the most insulting asspull twists. And on top of it, they're bad people when they're not doing stupid pointless daredevil shit. Yeah the cleavage is awesome, but the movie itself was shit. Would you believe there's a fakeout dream sequence in a movie about two broads stuck on top of a TV antenna? Fuck it, there's two of them! LMFAOI really hated this. Can't believe they managed to stretch it out for 100 minutes, it should've dropped at least 20.

I watched the forbidden movie. I don't know why I expected it to be a slasher film when the director's other movies should have made it clear that it'd be mostly an exploration of the "queer experience." Once again, the major strength lies in its earnestness as the director explains as best as he can what is wrong with him psychologically. If you're into that, the movie is worth watching. If you want an actual horror film, I don't feel like this is one. All of his movies get labeled horror because they reference the genre. In I Saw the TV Glow, the main character is obsessed with a horror TV show, and in this one the main character is writing/directing a reboot of an old slasher series, but the purpose of that in each movie is more to get an understanding of the character and ultimately the director, how media has affected his sexual development and sense of self. The movies don't actually function as horror films though. As I watch it, I keep wondering what the director would be capable of if he'd make a straightforward horror film, not more tranny dramas. He clearly enjoys horror movies and has an eye for detail. A real attempt at a slasher film could be interesting, and frankly necessary if he's going to continue making movies.
>>222794374I didn't know it was called that
>>222794375>Once again, the major strength lies in its earnestness as the director explains as best as he can what is wrong with him psychologicallyexcellent review, thanks for writing it. awesome to see a clear-eyed and honest take on it, and I completely agree about it's real value being a crazy person being very open about their mental illness.

It's just more of a discussion of horror movies (and how they triggered the director's brain in an odd way) than it is, itself, a horror movieAnd as far as a particular actress in the film, who I will not name, but who is known here, she actually wasn't in the movie very much. Just finished a double feature. Even just five years ago I spit on modern SOV stuff and wouldn't even watch it, but for some reason Catnado flipped a switch for me and now I'm kind of addicted to them and my standards have changed completely. This one stars and was directed by Misty Mundae of all people, which I had no idea of before I started it, I just liked the summary. A Manyvids style porn star does fake femdom snuff videos in a small Ohio town, but it suddenly seems like everyone in town is trying to become e-famous, so the porn star starts killing people for real. It's shot on a bunch of different formats including videotape for all the different wannabe influencers. Doesn't have much of a structure and it's only an hour long. Pretty low on the gore or the nudity, but Misty does get her little tits out. For her age she looks great, she's milf'd out nicely. For some reason this small town has a lot of trannies, lmao.

>>222796466>that shot's from the Lollapalooza episodeI remember that episode. It's about being foolish while getting older. Btw. this track from "Dark Side of the Moon" is also about getting older.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qr0-7Ds79zo&list=RDQr0-7Ds79zo
>>222796425That wasn't what I was talking about. I was talking about the limitedness and finality of all life, but your talking point is relevant to that. I used to love classic rock but have lost my taste for it. Memento mori, anon.>>222796466I don't watch the simpsons. I just know the meme.
>>222796496Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) is for me the perfect hot day horror movie. Idk I cant explain it but the movie seems hot and sweaty to me
>>222796474Sorry to hear, anon. I haven't put my A/C on even once this past month. And I only keep the windows open about an inch at night otherwise it gets too cool in the house.
>>222796541Oh this was for >>222796474
>>222796539>I don't watch the simpsons. You should give an episode from seasons 2 - 8 a try. They're hilarious and endlessly quotable.
>>222796558he should take advantage of the horror season and check out the Treehouse of Horror episodes
>>222796544there are sweaty assholes underneath those jeans that I need to lick
>>222796558>>222796589I'm sure you're right. I don't like to watch cartoons. That's no hate for /co/ or /a/. It's just not what I like. I am open to some suggestions for some brief viewing.
>>222796608>I don't like to watch cartoonsthink of them as radio dramas with illustrations
>>222796595For God's sake, Anon, my mother lurks these threads
>>222796595they're 100 years old now and the brown of their buttholes have spread across half of their asscheeks.>>222796619I can get that. Maybe I should clarify that I don't like to watch series. I prefer films. And usually cartoons are series. I'm no anime fan but I do watch and enjoy some japanese animated films.Nobody inquired after my personal taste but here we are.
>>222796635>t. Norman
>>222796608since I assume you're a horror fan, check out their Nightmare on Elm Street parody. it's only 7 minutes long.https://www.reddit.com/r/90scartoons/comments/1okl26h/nightmare_on_evergreen_terrace/(yes, reddit link, i know)
>>222796641>they're 100 years old now and the brown of their buttholes have spread across half of their asscheeks.stop, I can only get so erect
>>222796641>I don't like to watch series.OK, I don't like series either, unless they're good (which is rare) or it's a miniseries where the story is done and concluded after 8 episodes. "The Simpsons" is a series where you don't have to watch prior episodes to be able to enjoy an episode. They even joke about the fact that "next week it will all be back to normal" when something life-altering happens. That goes especially for the Halloween specials, or "Treehouse of Horror" episodes. They're three stories within a 22 minute episode, all nods to famous horror movies like "The Shining" or "Nightmare on Elm Street" etc.

>>222796689>>222796648kek that opens with a looney tunes parody, now he is gonna think it's a cartoon
>>222796678I get it. Will I parse through the good episodes based on recommendations? Maybe.Am I going to spend a lot of time on it? No. Again, it's nothing against animation or their fans. I like weird arthouse films and surreal horror. I don't think my taste is superior, it's just my taste.
>>222796447>colderThe fuck?
>>222796729>good episodes based on recommendationsI liked "Bart vs Australia", which is season 6, episode 16.
>>222796767I'll watch it, anon. Got a list. Thank you!
>>222796777checked
>>222796729A lot of the Simpsons jokes are pretty absurdist. Also animation has some of the most kino surreal and arthouse stuff imo. Mad God and Angel's Egg both relevant for horror fans.
I gotta be up at 8>it's 4:30>>222796816I have seen Mad God but not heard of Angel's Egg. Adding it to the list.Good night
>>222796846Nice, I think you'll enjoy it
>>222796865Check out Blood Tea and Red String. It's on effedupmovies.
>>222796898Sweet will do
>>222796435You should have been like "BUT THIS IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY!"
>>222792951"Joe Hill" is actually Stephen King's son.If nothing else, it's memorable and fun to reference.
