I watched Captain Kronos a couple of months ago. It's a late Hammer film, but it has a different feel to it. It was written and directed by TV legend Brian Clemens who made so many great TV shows. It doesn't feel like the script was improvised as with so many earlier Hammer films. I watched the documentary about Hammer and they actually made a production assistant the writer of some of their earlier films.

What box set(s)? Back when I had money, I liked buying physical media because it focused me towards specific movies, whereas streaming has too many options with little curation. I still have some blu-rays in my backlog, but buying stuff tends to make it much easier to select things to watch

I definitely plan on watching it. I'm glad we're seeing openly "schlocky" fun horror movies again, felt like things were trending way too seriously for a while and I was burnt out. I think Terrifier helped producers realize this stuff still has an audience.
