It ended up feeling like “Noah’s Arcade Presents: MonsterVision”.The marathon and first three years or so were generally great though. Though, I’ve got to say that Joe Bob going on topical rants really date it though (Colin Kaepernick, the Georgia trans controversy, Trump’s 2016 election, the Gillette commercial controversy, etc), to the point where I find myself skipping entire segments now.

finally watched this. why is it revered as a classic? dated 70s schlock felt like a tv movie, not really engaging as a police procedural thriller, no horror elements, and too weak british black comedy. saved by christopher lees performance and the bartender girls tits. compared to exorcist of the same year or texas chainsaw 1974 it is so much worse
>>222842032>exorcist of the same year or texas chainsaw 1974The Exorcist was just little girl is possessed and kills people (off camera). I have no idea why people fainted in cinemas, but they only did so in the US. Texas Chainsaw Massacre was ultracheap. "Hey, lets all drive out to hick country where the folks murder people and then wear their skin!" I guess it was probably inspired by the Ed Gein case in Wisconsin in the 1960s.
>>222842203Yea i guess it probably is, neat, nobodys ever considered that one
Watched Soulm8te. I enjoyed watching it while I was watching it, but I think it was just because the sexbot was so beautiful and lovely, because as soon as I stopped watching it I started realising all the problems with the script.

>>222843756hell yeah, thanks. I already had Baskervilles and Sister Hyde planned and downloaded. I've seen The Gorgon and The Devil Rides Out but totally unfamiliar with the rest
>>222843756I watched Captain Kronos a couple of months ago. It's a late Hammer film, but it has a different feel to it. It was written and directed by TV legend Brian Clemens who made so many great TV shows. It doesn't feel like the script was improvised as with so many earlier Hammer films. I watched the documentary about Hammer and they actually made a production assistant the writer of some of their earlier films.

>>222861394Despite the protest of many social media faggots, they do seem interested in pushing Nikki as a "horror icon" character. Halloween Horror Nights has Nikki actresses walking around.Plus we already have Nikki merch shirts and sweatshirts, there's a high chance we get Nikki action figures if the Obsession mania continues.

The Fortnite Jason NECA figure looks really good. The Jason Universe design translated nicely into that game because the characters are cartoony.
>>222860218Kino flick
>>222861492funny how you're absolutely correct yet some literal cartoons look awful in fortnite
>>222845573based
>>222861492I don't really like it. It's too clean, which I guess is just the graphical style of the game, and the layers of clothing look too light. To me it doesn't look like Jason, it looks like some normal guy put on a Jason mask. This Jason looks like he drives a Kia and shops at TJ Maxx.
>>222862197He looks dirtier in the actual game, the figure looks like they gave him a bath
Movies from that 1978 to 1984-ish era just feel inherently Halloweeny in a way that other eras don't always. The golden age of horror vibes.
>>222838851AHE is underrated. Leone cooked up a really comfy Halloween anthology.
>>222862558And yet there are posters who think they're old and corny and nobody should watch them

>>222858547>I sure as fuck wouldn't do that in the city.
>>222858547>>222864467idk why you think its more dangerous at night, everyone's already gone to bed except the real weirdos and the weird night shift lifers. best time.

>>222864549>idk why you think it's more dangerous at night... when it's nothing but "real weirdos"
Watched this last night, but between the quality and the makeup I still couldn't tell who the killer was.
>>222864887you dont go out at 2am unless a bar is closing or you dont want to see people. aside from the drunks, if they were violent they would have picked the absolute worst possible choice for it.
>>222837414>>222837551It's a 3 hour drive from where I live and i have yet to actually see it in person.
>>222858547Suburbs are worse cause people are poor. Why do ruralcucks love saying the cities aren’t safe? Wealthy areas are always safe. Suburbancucks and ruralcucks love to pretend the city is all ghetto when to anyone who isn’t poor, “the city” refers to where the upper class lives. Its like how blue collar losers compare the top 5% of blue collar to the bottom 50% of white collar

Hello working class. Beautiful Saturday. Saw Above and Below and this was more thriller than horror.

>>222865618I really enjoy it, but idk if you will. It's the best big multiplayer shooter around rn imo, it's always getting substantial content updates.
This came so close to being a comfy Ninth Gate-esque movie. Good premise, good atmosphere and shooting but they blew it on the makeup/FX side. Has a few interesting bits of stop-motion though.
>>222866667Guess I will check it out
