Anyways, most of you have bad taste and watch movies even if it is very obviously woke from the trailers and other promos.

Watched Cemetery Man (1994) after hearing that it has one the best topless scenes in horror. It did not disappoint in that department. I really enjoyed it once I got past that the lead was the gay guy in My Best Friend's Wedding. I'll probably check out the Dylan Dog comics since they have that connection.

Second time seeing Savageland and I definitely appreciated it more. You have to put your feelers out for the realness of the horror when the photographs come along. The first time I saw it I was probably binging ff and expecting it to pivot into 20m long recordings of people being eaten. And then there's the obvious question, where they demons?
Just finished (kind of). I went to six movies at the theater on Friday and then slept for 27 hours. Akira 4K was first, then I caught this. These are the kind of movies Wingard should be making, but he's still not very good at it. It's like two thirds setup, and then the actual premise doesn't kick in til the third act. And then when it does, the killers are fucking jobbers, I was shocked how fast they went down. One they even killed by accident, lmfao. Girlboss haters are going to HATE this, goes without saying. I liked the needlessly quirky characters like Dan Stevens' and Drew Starkey's but they don't do much. The little girl is very cute and they dress her like Wendy from The Shining for no reason, kek.
>>223019991After that was By All Means, a Green Book ripoff with Mark Wahlberg wearing a fake nose. My big theater got 75% booked by a college football department, they didn't react to much except all laughing at a guy's dog getting killed, which I thought was weird. Then was picrel. These movies are so stupid, the characters put themselves in insanely dangerous situations for the stupidest reasons and then we're supposed to sympathize with them. This one didn't even do as good a job as making them feel like they were really high up like the first one did. I was laughing every time something bad happened to them because they honestly deserved it. Appreciated them making this one an ass focused movie since the last one was a titty movie.

Finally got around to this one. Overall not bad but the editing screen stuff got to be a bit much. Also what’s the point of setting up the elm tree just to drown him?
Just finished. Interesting, bizarre little gothic fairy tale from Spain. It dabbles in being a possession picture, dabbles in being a home invasion movie, but goes all in on the sexual longing. A roaming lusty friar shows up at the home of a rich widow with a teen daughter and the girl falls for him so bad they think she's possessed. But also the hot maid has put a curse on the daughter to save her infant son from it. Also there are some vengeful bandits who are eyeing the place for a ransacking. It's beautifully photographed but not very horrific. The women are all hot as fuck and have the courtesy to get the goods out. I don't remember any blood.

>>223033248>Born February 11, 1962>Diane Franklin is an iconic 80s American film actress, known for her dark curly hair, and dialects. Beginning her acting career at the age of ten, Diane started with modeling, theater, commercials, and soap opera work. She then won the lead role of the dream girl, Karen, in cult classic THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN (1982) and soon after played the daughter, Patricia Montelli in AMITYVILLE II: THE POSSESSION.So she was around 18 or 19 when it was filmed.
>>223033802It was ok. Too much shrieking and wailing though. It was a bit too much and by the end was just getting annoying. Kino hair flick though.
my review of Tinsman Road is that it is equal parts boring and ass

Just finished. Silly, wtf Welsh thing that feels like it was made for national TV as some sort of patriotism thing. Some small Welsh village is hosting a music festival that will attract a lot of "big" Welsh "celebrities", so a children's choir keen to keep all the attention to themselves start killing the celebs, who are playing themselves, off. One soccer star they put a bomb in the ball of. One harp player they electrify her harp so it electrocutes her. It's only an hour long and in Welsh and honestly confusing as fuck.
Watched Don't Torture a Duckling with my brother tonight, absolute kino
>>223035319Also just finished. Went to the theatrical show, probably the third or fourth time I've seen it. Hit me this time how much it's Tom Atkins Making Phone Calls: The Movie. Also how similar to They Live it is. Watching this relatively sober I was struck by how insane and honestly stupid the story is. Dan O'Herlihy killed it, of course.
