My honest genuine opinion is that I don't think it was bad to not end in a big battle, but there's aspects of the episode where it genuinely felt like the mystery just solved more itself than by John or the Hologram. I feel the payoff for Noah and the Sheriff is really fucking bad, not like I expected John to go all "vengative" but it went pretty fucking nowhere. The money shit was just some lame time pressure that again just fixed pretty quickly.Hal being dead, Sinestro being left to rot, and the idea of Manhunter still existing with the technology to replicate itself and heal others are doors that the show could use if it gets a season 2, but it feels more like open doors that they left there with the intention to make it The ugly is the Oath and the surf dracula over John's GL, well if you wanna call it GL still. I didn't feel as disappointed as with Peacemaker S2 but it is an ending that's close to it, rather than close to Peacemaker S1.
