Just finished (over the downtime.) Total embarrassment of an anthology that I didn't know was an anthology before starting it. (Finding movies for this <100 project that aren't anthologies or found footage about ghost hunting is a chore in itself.) Here are terrible comedic horror shorts presented with full opening and closing credits in a wraparound device about Michael Myers' sister, Freddy Krueger's wife, and Jason's daughter (J. Daughter; can you figure that joke out?) waiting for Michael to get home from the grocery store. In the meantime they read stories from Myers' book she's working on. The girls wear Halloween masks of their related characters. The title is a pun on Halloween Ends. (This is the level we're working at here.) The last one is about the Universal monsters sharing a house in Florida, and has jokes like the mummy using his bandages as toilet paper (just like in Minions!) and the Wolfman going on a Maury Povich style show for a paternity test. The middle segment is about a kids show starring a character named "Dungo", and his costume is excellent, but that's the only thing this has going for it. :(
