This is not just another 'Malfoid thread'. That's not something I'm particularly into personally, (either Harry Potter or the Malfoid meme), but I've been following it with great interest because it seems to have created motivation and conditions for Potterfags and others to make genuine serious efforts toward full-on AI movies trying to scratch whatever itch Malfoid represents for them.Which is not to say AI movies and genuine artistic efforts don't exist already, but this seems to have an unusually strong cultural groundswell with faggots you'd least expect jumping onboard. Which is to say, while earlier efforts to make AI shit may have amounted to proof of concept or had their niche audiences, this one might have the widest audience yet. That would not only be significant in terms of creating full AI movies that general audiences actually want to see, as well as revised/improved alt-versions of movies, but most interestingly un-fucking IPs that have been mauled by political faggotry in recent years. This has been a long-term want, ever since people have been recutting movies to make Han shoot first, and it's an obvious expectation for AI.The Malfoid shit I've been seeing so far has me convinced the brakes have been fully released on the AI movie train. There will no doubt be many efforts that fall short, legal pushback or whatever, but I don't think this one is going to stop until we have something full-length, high quality, almost indistinguishable from live action that a lot of people will see and consider in some way 'canon', (if only in their own minds). The cream will rise to the top organically based on merit, and what's 'popular' will go back to being what normal people are interested in, (like heterosexual romance and not some insular ideological pack of deviant faggots and their gay shit). Checkmate.tl;dr:>You can have the technology, but you also need some 'killer app' impetus and wider demand for shit to really kick offThoughts?
>>223906257Personally, I'm hoping to use AI to start a web serial based on a novel I'm writing. With the latest models, I feel I might have a chance, but there's still some fine tuning needed. And I personally only have 12gb of VRAM, so if I can't get it to work, I"ll have to try some pay sites I guess.
>>223906257im not reading all that, Poopjeet
I didn’t read all of that, but I’m personally not wading through the library of babel equivalent of film on the impossibly small chance to find something decent to watch. You guys have no idea how terrible your average person is at being creative. Even if you give people the tools to generate an entire film from their computer, they’d produce nothing but crap.
Imagine being a poo lmao
>>223906257I dunno if you've ever tried AI video generation but it's kinda a shitshow. Higgsfield is making some headway into making it more cohesive but it's still a mess. Then there's the token issue. It is still insanely expensive. To create an actually good AI movie without the slop mistakes, you will still need hundreds of thousands. It's a pittance to an actual movie studio but not to normslimes.
>>223906329>>223906446>>223906532No, I said 'thoughts' not knee-jerk retardation that has nothing to do with anything you brainless tards. WhyCantItRead?!.gifBasically you'd have an 'emergent canon', just like you have with other shit like the Bible, Greek and Roman gods, and the rest is less accepted apocrypha at best and not even talked about or remembered at worst, (like what will actually happen to Disney Star Wars canon under these conditions). Notice the same movies are talked about on this board repeatedly, regardless of age, while new shit goes by the wayside.

>>223906257AI films will eventually replace the movie industry and potentialy kill off all the film studios.Though I can see a potential situation where studios survive by partnering with the most talented AI film creators. Becoming more like a book publishing company. Afterall it's not gonna be that easy to market your work, or for people to even know it exists in what will probably be a very flooded market.I don't personally ever want to consume a AI generated narrative. But, I don't give a fuck about the visuals being fully AI generated if we get to the point where you can't tell the difference.

I have to say I'm satisfied with what's been generated so far. I'm not sure I even want any more stuff than what's already out there, I've followed schmede before Malfoid took off, the Apocalypse angel warfare clips he made are great. There's probably a demand for that stuff because this clip went viral, it would definitely be a breath of fresh air if it was an actual television show. Besides, I've heard the book of Revelation is what people go to read first when it comes to the Bible so it makes sense. Maybe there's a cultural need because TV can be outright demonic at times and that's the beauty of it, you can make good things with these tools.
>>223908839Antediluvian >pre-trib imo
>>223906257I completely agree with you and I'm never going to pretend some of these AI videos of Malfoid aren't surprisingly decent. At least the people making the prompts gave more of a shit than most Hollywood writers today. I know almost nothing about the Harry Potter franchise yet I'm addicted to the Malfoid meme. And I know I'm not the only one. I think that's significant.

>>223908751I suspect what will happen here is not going to be perfect just yet, but 'good enough' relative to past shit and inching to live action quality will have most people not caring about the remaining flaws at some point, and I think we are more or less at that point, which kinda is my point. That's all I'm trying to point out, if you get my point. You could always tell a good story using even earlier AI, or fucking stop motion with plasticine if you wanted. Whether it's entertainment is more about the human talent than the tools, and it was ever so:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bYA2Rv2CQ8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tfcGFt6m_QNeural Viz uses better and better tools over time, compensates for the current limitations, and gets a genuinely entertaining if imperfect result. That's what I'm talking about.Obviously he'd have a lot of fucked up gens on the cutting room floor, and that will just get better over time, (reducing the cost and workload), looking less and less like stereotypical AI slop. At some point though this stuff passes into the realm of simply watchable entertainment. Not everyone is going to be into this kind of 'le quirky' humour and mode of storytelling though, so it doesn't have as broad a potential audience as the Potter shit does. It's still notable that Malfoid has a pretty typical AI look you'd get if you asked it generate just about any attractive blonde white girl. There's still a lack of a truly unique appearance, but it seems like that stereotypical AI slopface, what AI seems to think represents 'attractive', has actually kinda become her identity in some ironic way.Go back and look at some of the successful blockbusters at the turn of the century with obviously imperfect CGI, or shit from the 50's with obvious rear projection and greenscreen, or the original Star Wars with groundbreaking but still imperfect effects and tell me I'm wrong. This shit doesn't need to be perfect either to actually sell a good story.
Is this the thread?
It's mostly just childish entertainment. Malfoid webms have strong Bollywood or anime sensibility. The close ups, the slowmo, infantile understanding of human relationships. Frankly, none of this looks good. None of those people will be able to create a whole movie.
>>223909039Still looks fake though. And the "directing" is bad. It'll be like CGI: maybe good enough for willful suspension of disbelief but not actually realistic. And it'll still need human hands to guide it
>>223909075the absolute irony of using soulless bug shit for this
>>223909448Some are genuinely good. If you disagree it's frightening to think of what you find good
>>223909039AI literally hasn't improved at all since it was making 512x512 still images of fractal dogs and anyone who claims otherwise is a tranny chud.
>>223906440The best current offline video model Minimax H3 works with 8Gb VRAM minimum. I've got 32Gb VRAM and been using the full model, but it's still not great for live action. Sure, you can do short clips, porn, and meme-y things, but it's just not good enough for full live-action video production. It is on par with the best frontier model (Seedance) when making anime stuff, though. But you really need to be aware of the limitations (whethre you're using an offline model or some web service). No matter the model, AI video generation is nowhere near the "make me a movie from my awesome prompt" expectation some people have.
>>223909640Miniman CAN do full live action video production. Especially with 32gb vram like you claim to have. It sounds like you aren't taking full advantage of ref2v and your prompting skills are lacking if all you think h3 can do locally are short 15-30s meme clips.
>>223909512It looks close to a current Hollywood movie. Not because the AI models are better, but because the visuals in Hollywood movies have gone steadily downhill for decades.
>>223909553it is what it ishttps://youtu.be/6pTjAOCgfIM?list=PLGw8klyRd6P3VMEStQRNPgT4hy4j6LHgm
>>223909708I'd love to see a live action short film or something similar made with Minimax, just to prove me wrong. Even with using references, strict prompting and LORAs, Minimax just isn't there yet for great quality.
>>223909708Nta but it's very fiddly and the ref2v is slower and lower quality. Continuous cuts need some special solution with node hell and quality degradation. The prompting is tedious and has to be iterated on a lot to get decent results. And it will ultimately look sloppy anyway even with constant attention to fighting that.Is IS viable to an extent, but you'll have to put in the effort. Most people aren't going to be up to it.

>>223906257Nah. Unless a well-known franchise/IP is involved, there is no real demand for it. There are planty well-made "original" AI content out there that being totally ignored (if it's not ragebait).Long AI-generated movies won’t take off because it doesn’t generate profit aside from the platforms monetizing the traffic. More importantly, it can’t be copyrighted, which means it could be taken down by rights holders at any moment, or simply reposted or re-generated by another user. And they still look bearly realistic: if the shots don’t change too rapidly, or if the sequence is long enough, you start to notice the overall "cheapness" and the lack of thought put into the visual environment; the plot and presentation are both nonsensical and inconsistent. AI-generated videos even still all share the same fundamental problem: they’re created by amateurs who believe that "visuals > substance" - especially when it comes to "realistic" content. AI is much better at recreating anime-style, but anime has a simple aesthetic and an incredibly low bar to begin with. Anime fans will eat up any crap anyway.>>223909039> now people are putting out videos like this.If you think this is the pinnacle of AI generation, then my condolences. By following recommendations of people you trust or directors you trust. Like going to your local independently owned video rental store and trusting the owners recommendations. Then telling them how much you enjoyed the film when you return the tape or DVD. Maybe even striking up a conversation. We also used to have books that would recommend movies and talk about their plots like, "Top 200 movies you should watch! By (insert movie historian name here)" Today? It's not about discovering. It's about FILTERING. There's so much slop being made that you have to filter out most of it. Remove as much options as possible. Going on a streaming site? >>223909332Perfection is not really the issue here. There are basic consistency and control issues to consider first that only become apparent on larger, more complex projects. The "good enough" mentality may work for fooling around and making shorts but it´s a terrible approach to professional pipelines that require more precise results. Specially if the ones calling the shots and deciding what is "good enough" happen to be incompetent. Those that support AI see it as some sort of great equalizer that democratizes creation but i feel it´s not quite like that. I feel that, the way it works, it´s two different things. I feel that for those knowledgeable or skilled it has the potential to be an actual time saving tool that can potentially allow them to refine whatever they are making on each iteration as they possess the knowledge to guide it better. If these people were to embrace it i can see AI improving but most of these people don´t want to embrace it because they enjoy the process and self actualization that comes with making each small decision themselves. And then you have the majority of the people. For most people it´s not a time saving tool but a crutch to make up for laziness or the lack of skill. Thousands of users like that wouldn´t help improve AI or even be able to make full use of the tool as it is currently. In fact by providing large quantities of subpar results they may dilute the quality of the available training data and lead to self cannibalization or negative retro-feeds.That said, if the quality of average media is low enough audiences may be willing to accept even those kind of results. It´s pretty relative.

I know this sounds fucking stupid but Draco should have been wizard Vegeta. Capable of almost matching or even bettering Harry at most things on his day but held back by his entitlement and arrogance that comes from being a pureblood of noble birth. Ends up becoming Harry's No.1 hater but turns into a reluctant ally (with Harry occasionally relying on him to succeed) throughout the course of his books and eventual friend. Instead Draco is quickly relegated to being a pathetic background bully until his parent's old death cult re-emerges late on in the story
>>223910676Yeah, the key word here is "he." Would Voldemort ever give the Dark Mark to a GIRL, or bring her into his inner circle? His views on women were shaped among Muggles in the 1940s. Almost all the Death Eaters are men; the only exceptions are the two "failed" women: the unhinged Bellatrix and the masculine Alecto Carrow. >>223912619Kids who grew up on lolcows end up wasting their time watching or following things they hate.
>>223912619Sharty zoomers are legit mindbroken. Not a single happy relationship theyve ever had
>>223912840Or maybe Slytherin boys are scared of her father.
My choice for Malfoid.
>>223911065She's not given the mark because she's trusted. It's to further humiliate her father, Lucius, after his incredible fuck up with the diary and at the Ministry. Which is also why he sends a child on what amounts to a suicide mission.
>>223912864I guess so. It's an extremely unhealthy mindset so I'm shocked people even let themselves fall into that kind of activity. People who get hooked on lolcows are such an anomaly to me, because a real lolcow isn't a common thing, so they are quick to cheapen the term and try to pay it to anyone or anything they hate and turn themselves into clowns harping on even the slightest, most minor mistake the person or thing makes. Genuinely troonlike behavior, it's crazy

>>223907098I'm not generating scenes wholesale, but if the live-action doesn't work out, I'm falling back on stylized animatics. I'd invest in a new card, but not at these prices after I've just lost my job.
>>223911065>It feels like some closeted queers want to ship Harry with the original Malfoy or tranny Malfoy, but try hard to look "straight".lmao what?
>I'd invest in a new card, but not at these pricesif you are serious about video gen, try to get a second hand 4090. it's more than enough. VRAM is the most important.

>>223907557>polThe fuck you talking about? Pol is pushing malfoid like crazy because it’s a traditional heterosexual romance. Malfoid subverts the subversives by being wholesome. I’ve never seen troons, fags, dykes, feminists and kikes so mad

>>223912342It's funny, but the humans involved often fail to think enough steps ahead. Like I was listening to some interview with that fag who created, 'The Adventures of Mary Sue', and he was talking about trying to get the background coherent. He literally says he would have created a 3D model of the environment but he doesn't know how to use Blender well enough:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmDwsC6SjBUI'm like dude, why not just draw a 2D map of where you want everything, some concept art, and feed that into AI and get it to create a 3D environment for you? And in actual Blender if you like? Then iterate the details of that to your liking? It's like back in the old days when your grandmother didn't know how to google shit, and there are laggards who are still googling shit now instead of just asking AI - or not asking AI to do shit for them not because it can't do it, but because they are stuck in the older mental paradigm. Fortunately for them AI is being integrated into google and a lot of other shit without them doing anything anyway, but they're still stuck in the mentality of looking up information and putting two and two together manually.>>223910982I do understand the consistency issues being discussed here, but compare that to the effort and impossibility of keeping live action consistent.I always wondered what it would be like for a naïve android like Data from Star Trek watching an old film from the 20th Century. He'd wonder why an actresses' hair changed from shot to shot and wonder why humans didn't notice or assume the shots were happening sequentially in time. A book on a desk moving here, someone taking the same action twice in the background there. All continuity errors we don't notice and have lived with forever already, and nitpickers have fun trying to spot.Much like the self-driving cars AI doesn't have to drive perfectly, just be as good or better than human drivers, (in this case they can even be a little worse).
>>223914113if you look at the report section "this post is off-topic" has been moved down quite a bit on the list. this is likely due to the amount of users the site is bleedingthis also means you can post whatever you want here(obviously not NSFW and illegal due to the global rules) and enjoy the time left before hiro pulls the plug
>>223914236>SaraphinaYep, this was definitely scripted by ChatGPT.
>>223912897In the original story, punishing Lucius wasn’t his primary goal - it was just a pleasant bonus, just as instilled fear in all the Death Eaters regarding the fate of their own heirs. And given how Voldemort treated Draco himself, it’s obvious he intended to keep him within his ranks; Draco should be a fresh generation to replace the older Death Eaters, who would eventually die off..Voldemortis is not some leftist or libertard. To him, women are, for the most part, a resource for the reproduction of wizards (wives) or just some brainless support. Voldemort’s approach is to seize Lucius’s assets (his home, his wand) rather than threaten to destroy them. To insult or punish Lucius, Voldemort need only dictate whom his daughter marries or use her for his own breeding. From a traditionalist perspective, give mark or assigning any kind of mission - let alone a dangeris one- to a fuking girl is bizarre and cringe.People like you don’t actually perceive Malfoid as a girl. You just enjoy gooning over a highly feminine tranny character who continues to fulfill the original’s male role in a world where he is also still seen as a boy for most part. Honestly, there’s a hell of a lot of things in these videos where "she" acts/carries herself/interacts with others more like a boy than an actual girl.
>>223914635>In the original story, punishing Lucius wasn’t his primary goalwhat the fuck are you talking about? in the book voldemort is SPECIFICALLY punishing lucius by sending draco to kill dumbledore. thats why snape already knew, because he had already been tasked to kill dumbledore when draco failed. that was the plan
>>223914635>People like you don’t actually perceive Malfoid as a girl. You just enjoy gooning over a highly feminine tranny character who continues to fulfill the original’s male role in a world where he is also still seen as a boy for most part.I'm trying to preserve the narrative line that gets us the sectumsempra scene, and thus ensure the angst that Harry has from using such a spell against the girl he likes, but project away if that's what you want to see.

There'll be trouble from people not having the IP ahead of some promted story or whatever media, then that being taken wholecloth without recourse. >>223913742>>>/pol/ shill
>>223912840>My read is that she has trouble actually dating because of her high standards and she actually is a bitchWell, it's unrealistic. Such queen-bees always have a boyfriend and a bunch of backups hovering around. No one cares about their bitchines as long as they're hot and rich. Besides, having a boyfriend in school isn’t really about romance; it’s about status within the girls' social hierarchy. Such girl would simply choose someone pure-blooded, handsome, athletic, wealthy, from the same social clicks.Besides, let’s be honest: Harry only ever developed feelings for girls when they already has a boyfriend. Cho was with Cedric, Ginny had to go and make out with Dean right in front of Harry just to get him to finally notice her. And Malfoid certainly isn’t the type to sit around sighing longingly in solitude, waiting for a chance.
>>223913620Potter is too smart to fall for an obvious shit test
>>223915044>, it's unrealistic. Such queen-bees always have a boyfriend and a bunch of backups hovering around. No one cares about their bitchines as long as they're hot and rich. Besides, having a boyfriend in school isn’t really about romance; it’s about status within the girls' social hierarchy. Such girl would simply choose someone pure-blooded, handsome, athletic, wealthy, from the same social clicksThe main reason to avoid this is that it's cliche, unnecessary and would bloat the already long story.

>>223914635>People like you don’t actually perceive Malfoid as a girl. Honestly, there’s a hell of a lot of things in these videos where "she" acts/carries herself/interacts with others more like a boy than an actual girl. The hilarious part of this bullshit narrative is bitches don't know the Ellen Ripley from the first Alien movie was conceived as a man in the original drafts.>A lot of trannies in the current year glom onto the fact there was some line in the original script about the crew being unisex and the individual character sexes undecided, but read far too much into that through their myopic modern 'muh gender' lens.Early on they figured it might be more interesting to have the character be female, and it would also subvert expectations of who the surviving hero would be.ie. Something different for good reasons, rather than the boring ideological feminist stronk whammen horseshit.Obviously after that point they would write her as a woman, but didn't need to change much in terms of dialogue, nor did they want to make Ripley a damsel in distress. Lambert was similarly 'male by default', but notice she goes to pieces in a manner you'd expect of a woman.>trannies also try to pretend that they didn't change ANY of the script besides changing 'he' to 'she', but this is obviously not true evidenced by the cut scene of her fucking Dallas, and I know picrel scene would have played out a lot different, or at least been received a lot different by audiences if it were done exactly the same - especially in 1979.ie. You can swap a character's sex completely and achieve a better, more interesting, or entirely different dynamic than you would have if you literally went the other way. There's nothing new about this kind of decision, and writers have been making them since day dot.
>>223914800>I'm trying to preserve the narrative line that gets us the sectumsempra scene, and thus ensure the angst that Harry has from using such a spell against the girl he likes, but project away if that's what you want to see.The scene in the restroom makes absolutely no sense. Just for some shitty infantile kind of angst for a sake of angst. 1. In almost all fan-written scenarios, Malfoid is also "in love" with Harry, yet at the same time, she is seems capable of using the Cruciatus Curse on him. Great "romance" development. And don’t give me that "oh, she’s under so much stress" crap. it doesn't work that way.2. Harry uses a "spell intended for an enemy." So this mean he views a girl as an actual enemy? Or even worst: the girl he have a crush on as his enemy? Are you guys okay? What kind of incel bulshit is it3. This scene from a side even more fucked up. It makes look Harry as kind of creep. Harry stalks a girl into a girls' restroom. Harry attacks a girl in a girls' restroom. Who the fuck would interpreted this as an "accident during a fight" or as an act of self-defense after? No one.4. Even after Harry carves her up like a Thanksgiving turkey, they still somehow end up in a romance or starting a family? Or it lead to "power of love ending"? This is the kind of setup you’d only find in the fanfiction of 12-year-olds.With this "angsty" nonsense, there won’t be any time to resolve conflicts or build even a shred of trust. especially considering what happens later.
OP, this is imageboard not paragraph board.main problem i see is everything is fragmented.>yes we can see nice malfoid clips here but without fuckin sound and no info on where to see the original in higher res, with sound.
>>223915661This is an imageboard not a videoboard dumbass. One that has a 2000 character limit by the way. It's not Twitter.
>>223915603>So this mean he views a girl as an actual enemy?A good author would establish that, yes. She's a death eater at that point.> Or even worst: the girl he have a crush on as his enemy>crushTheir relationship would be way beyond """crush""" stage at that point. You're way out of your element and should just not bother trying to understand.
>>223915603>shitty infantile kind of angst for a sake of angst.>incel bulshit>Who the fuck>the fanfiction of 12-year-olds.>"angsty" nonsensewhat are you actually mad about? it isnt an image of a girl or the fictions anons are writing, i promise you that

His most trusted and dangerous follower is a woman. He has absolutely no problem sending witches on suicide missions, or murdering them, regardless of whether they have or could have magical children.
>>223915603You are completely ignoring the context leading up to the fight. She's a death eater. He knows she's a death eater. The tragedy of the situation is she can't tell him why she has to do Voldemort's bidding. As for Crucio, just because you can cast it, doesn't mean it will do anything. Have it so she casts it to try to get him to back off.Anyway the point is neither are in the wrong. They're both just kids in way over their heads. Victims of circumstance, not each other.

>>223915492>Let’s compare a genderbent schoolbully in a traditionalist, retrograde parody of Britain (where the plot and role remain unchanged despite the gender swap) with a grown-ass working woman on the spaceship that was writen as an classic archetype of a "mama bear" who toughens up through the survival and then applies those hard-won skills and knowledge in the next film. Me so clever.Hahaha.These shippers are such retarders.
>>223915603>she is seems capable of using the Cruciatus Curse on himIn the canon scene, Draco says the word but Harry tags him before the spell even leaves the wand, we don't even know if Draco was capable of it, just that he tried.
>>223915749>Boo-hoo. Why do you claim that Hitler rejected the concept of female emancipation as an artificial, "anti-German" idea and argued that a woman’s world should be limited to "Kitchen, Children, Church"? That’s not true! Just look: "Frau Lampshade" from Buchenwald was a woman. See Nazis were actually promoting "woke feminism"! I do not rely on exceptions to the rule at all.
