There were some hokey and hacky moments that felt like studio meddling, and the whole conspiracy against Norman was like some scooby doo bullshit, but it was obvious the filmmakers hearts were in the right place and wanted to make it work. The recreations of the motel and house were absolutely marvelous too. Also, Meg Tilly owes me sex.
Best horror anthology shows? I've seen a bit of Twilight Zone and Masters of Horror but never any Hitchcock Hour.

I watched Alien, Aliens, and Alien3 on Halloween. >AlienActual horror picture in space, the acidic blood is treated as the largest issue since they can't effectively kill it without breaching the hull. Loved the interiors and the creature still looks good.>AliensIt's closer to an action film, the Space Marines are fun and Bill Paxton steals every scene he is in. I didn't like the half assed excuse for not letting them shoot the xenos but it's cool the CO was 100% down to nuke the planet from orbit and call it a day. >Alien 3I watched the assembly cut but I enjoyed it for the most part. Unfortunately the creature is almost always green screen and it looks terrible each time. The premise though is a lot cooler. It's a penal colony of all men who are murderers and rapists and thieves so of course they are all English. They also lack weapons because it is a prison. Having to kill an alien with basically nothing was interesting.

But instead, they did what you or I probably would have done; they listened to Ben, and as a direct consequence, every single one of them died hideously. Even Ben.
