Definitely first. Incest is a taboo and in-universe characters shouldn’t treat it as a non-serious thing, especially the mother. Younger characters would know better so sister incest could maybe be silly ‘experimenting’, but mothers should know better and acting upon those feelings would take some serious consideration or a loosening of inhibitions.

Definitely the first. The realism of the sex scenes is less serious for me though I get rather apathetic if it gets into a pretty quick 'I'm the top, vocally or otherwise, and you're following my lead'. More than anything if it's a slower build up, I want the sex to at least be more mutual and romantic. Mutual winning out if it's like a first time cause it's about showing that love/attraction.
