I watched Under the Bridge because I saw it had lesbians and I don't remember if the previous threads said anything about it so here is a spoiler free summary of the /u/ The MCs for most of the show are the girls who are what the story is really about, but the two main adults who are heavily involved in the story are implied closeted lesbians (show is set in the 90s I think) and they have 1-2 episodes with flirting and sex before it fades away and it doesn't end with them together but it isn't a bad parting so there's that. The show is such a dark and depressing drama so I wasn't expecting much but at least their part was handled pretty decently. Wouldn't watch it for the /u/ but if you like dark mysteries it is pretty good.

Out of all of them though the one which stands out is having her go through with the marriage after cheating and then waiting 3 months just to divorce anyway. Made her less likeable as a person for no story benefit since her family would have disowned her at any point for not staying with the marriage, and all it does it makes her hurt an innocent person. If they changed it so she got disowned after the funeral and didn't get married it would have changed nothing while giving the story time to breathe after they meet back up months later. In the end I liked seeing their relationship progress but felt like their rationale for the drama started to drag them down with it. Also the power of christ compels you gay exorcism scene was fucking wild.

The trailer's interesting aesthetic and energy are completely missing from most of the movie. Where the trailer has tight cuts and movement, the movie's editing opted for pausing scenes, weirdly long cuts of nothing, and autistic character interaction. The story was nonsensical so even though I'm about to spoil everything you would be hard pressed to actually apply any of the spoiler knowledge going into the movie. The movie mainly follows 2 groups of people and apparently tells the story in pieces jumping back and forth in time making it needlessly confusing. The one group is an aunt/niece who are both straight unfortunately, and the niece is looking for a deadbeat dad. The other more interesting /u/ group is an ice cream shop clerk who crushes on an aloof customer. She autistically chases after the customer every time she visits the store to hold an awkward conversation. Eventually this leads to them buying ice cream ingredients to make it home-made at the customer's home. They are hitting it off and just as they are about to kiss it cuts to a scene of the city. The movie gets increasingly confusing at this point because it reveals the time skip antics it had been doing, but to summarize they never kiss that night and have a food fight instead. Then it time skips and it is revealed they broke up, if they were even together in the first place. Maybe the ice cream shop punk girl clerk had a crush on the MC the whole time since it keeps showing her following the MC with her eyes but it never explains anything and I no longer care because this movie made me want to scream.

I stumbled upon some Ripley x Call art since Alien Romulus sparked renewed interest into the franchise for a lot of people.I forgot how obsessed I was with this pairing when I was younger. Blank was meh. The first season was shit mostly of Anueng being annoying as fuck and shitty plot point with ex-fiance and friend being Anueng parents. The second season was better when they finally started secretly dating. Overall the show is worse than GAP.
The Secret of Us is amazing. The chemistry between main leads is insane. And the supporting cast is great to.

For me it's Freenbecky, the extremely female type of romance and high end brazilian soap opera level what got me, may be just another one to you.
