>>4357532>>4357538Having read too many comic continuations I'm not sure I'd like to see how they decide to continue it and would prefer another 250 million dollar miracle that does it with consistency. Comic adaptations get handed off to random writer/artist combos and can vastly differ from the original characterizations. Plus the art will be inconsistent since comic artists are more prone to switching out. Also the ones I've read flanderize the characters because the writers are just iterating on whatever was in the show instead of treading a path of new character development built on their past, so you end up with characters repeating the same mistakes that they did before. Basically 90% of the ones I've read feel like professionally drawn fanfic instead of a real continuation. Maybe if Riot or some other consistent creator handled the entire thing it could turn out ok but it is such an uphill battle to get good adaptations that I don't want them rolling the dice on caitvi just for the sake of it.

There's so much significance in actions of love they make for each other and what they represent to each other as people that they're just endlessly interesting to think about.Think part of it is down to what Arcane is like as a show and the focus on where people make mistakes in how they love vs where they go right. The Ambessa/Mel vs Caitlyn/Vi parallels are especially juicy.

Everyone should know that Caitlyn was there by her side during the recovery because Vi woke up swaddled in Caitlyn's own bed with her injuries patched up sparing no expense by 3 doctors, and Loris said Caitlyn wanted to be the one to tell her which directly implies she wanted to be there when she woke up. It would be more of a stretch if someone said she wasn't sitting by her side for as long as she could.
I've been practicing redrawing scenes to do things like get rid of the prison bar shadows and change the surface textures and I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made in such a short time. I just need to be able to make it perfect so none of the impact of viewing caitvi is diminished.

Extremely disappointed they reused the same exact pose that is being used for the other much less expensive non-Arcane Vi statue. The fact they didn't bother to sculpt a new pose and just redid parts of her face/body means I definitely will not buy this unless it is $300 or less, which is 0% because this company does $1000+ statues.

>>4361926There are 2 caitlyn statues from Riot but they are both league models. One more Vi statue is being worked on but hasn't been revealed yet so maybe that one will be more unique. I've been shopping around and it costs 500-1000 for a professional 3d modeler to make a custom sculpt. It if nothing good is going to be made this year it may be worth saving for that instead.
