Check out the public yuri mod paste and consider adding more mods and fan translations here: https://rentry.org/n4ugnvhfEdit password: yurimodLast thread's fan translation additions: Affection -San Shimai to Juusha no Shoujo-Last thread's mod additions: NoneAdded the translated now almost lost media yuri VN "Affection" to the paste. Can't buy it or find it officially anywhere anymore, but it was preserved on the Archive and on the googledrive at least.I also took the liberty of updating some dead links in the general resources sections. For example, Romhackplaza now has a general purpose rom patcher which incorporates xdelta and all other formats. No need for separate links anymore. It would still be nice if someone could share some downloadable software for patching, because if that website ever goes down we lose our only patcher. Also the Ryujinx Switch emulator link had died, but I found another branch.
I judt copied the news post and the mod post from the archive dont ask me any questions about them I'm not the one who made them. It's also not my damn job to make threads so this was the last time I clean up for this mess. Ask the previous OP what happened I dont even care at this point. The mods and schizos have been having their little war and /u/ suffers as usual.
>>4587113For some reason this post is really cute. I imagine a cute girl with a comically large broom who's just had a really long day and is trying to shoo all the customers out of her shop so she can close up and go cuddle with her cats.
>>4587123I do have cats at least.
If you are playing Hell Maiden, be careful about installing the new hotfix. Many people cant use mod cards after downloading it. Might wanna wait for the next one.
>>4587179>If you are playing Hell Maiden, wait for it to go out of the EA development hell, save your money and have a peace of mind playing it later like any EA "released" game before.I hope this gonna help a lot of people here.
>>4587257Blow your brains out
Speaking about EA yurifans players, does Expeditions: Samurai have a female MC option?
>>4587261>Blow your brains outI think fans who installed newest HM hotfix gonna do that faster than me.
>>4587262They seem to be sticking to their course of letting the player have maximum freedom in character creation. But nobody mentioned a female protag option in the dev posts or the EA reviews. Might be added later?
>>4587110So I asked this last thread before it got deleted... how is the yuri in Ostranauts? I like sci-fi survival, but I don't get how the yuri factors in.
>>4587262>>4587282Looks like female MC is an option. No idea if there's anything /u/ relevant there though.
>>4587379Oh that's good news. I knew there are female party members, just not about selectable protag gender. Also I have seen so many dumb newbies complaining about the game not about a Jap protag in Japan. These doofuses have no idea what Expedition games are actually about. You know, being a stranger in a foreign land on an expedition?
>>4587113Thank you.
>>4587384Someone should make an Expedition game about japanese samurai (guy/female) being in some medieval Europe country then sold as exotic slave by Ottoman Empire to some noble and by escaping with other slaves as group our story starts.
>>4587110Watashi-tachi Fake Marriage? from some of the creators of Ne No Kami is supposed to release on August 25th according to vndb.
>>4587585More specifically WataMari 2 from the creators of WataMari 1. If you liked the first VN you're bound to want this one too.>25thInteresting, the Steam page and update posts dont mention a date. But it was meant to come out soon anyway. This is great news. Might be the most high quality Japanese VN we got since UsoNatsu.
>>4587113>schizosit's literally one dude
>>4587661We got three schizos and two permanent shitposters in these threads alone. You have no idea what's going on on the rest of the board.
>>4587585Finally damnit, the few VNs I've been interested in reading in the years after the prequel turned out to be disappointments, at least this one should deliver, short as it may be.
>>4587127I'm pretty sure you can buy a large broom at a hardware store
Anyone else getting these issues booting up P3P or P5R like link related?https://gamebanana.com/questions/108314
>>4587110>The World Well: Blood of CaroJust got done playing the demo of this. The english translation was awful, and the text wrapping was all bugged in the text log.Wonder if those will be fixed in the full release
>>4587762Dont post off-topic videos with males on /u/... Goddamn crossies.
>>4587779Update your Reloaded II and all your mods. And maybe rehook the .exe. I did and it works for me.
I find it funny that due to the controversy with keeping the gacha male MC, not enough people actually played Blue Reflection Quartet to realize that they retconned Sun to have the main heroine be canonically gay now. So, the male MC is just there to have his love interest be stolen by another girl.
>>4588001>AlesiaI dont think that's the main heroine anon. >Shiho gets stolen from Ao as she watchesIs this Mel Kishida's revenge against the best protagonist?SUN is the ONLY of the 4 titles i have not looked up the changes for because I was too appalled.I will admit though, even though I will never touch this male protagonist garbage and also will never forget all the disgusting harem shit from the gacha, this is actually a pretty interesting turn of events.
>>4588001Where's the catch?
>>4588004>I dont think that's the main heroine anon.Shiho was one of the main heroines in Sun, which is part of why people hated it.>I dont think that's the main heroine anon.Story wise, they mostly just removed the dating events with the male self-insert, and added more interactions between the girls.>>4588005The male self insert is still part of the main story.
>>4588006No shit people hate the idea of throwing Shiho at the male self-insert. Just reading that makes me violeny ill. I didnt even know that the gacha was doing that. >they removed the dating eventsOk, but did they also get rid of all the male protag fawning and glazing outside of those? And while we are at it o' great informanr, tell me how they ruined Ao's story. I was always curious about that, but didnt wanna look any piece of that dumpster fire up.
>>4588001I appreciate the effort, but memory-holing the game altogether wouldve been preferable. Still not buying the collection as long as it's a part of it, and i still hate Mel
>>4588007>Ok, but did they also get rid of all the male protag fawning and glazing outside of those?Nah, that's still pretty bad, not as bad as the gacha version, but still bad. So, I still wouldn't recommend it. They mostly tried to salvage Shiho's character and toned down the romance with the self-insert.>tell me how they ruined Ao's storyThey didn't, she is kinda just there (this take place before Second Light anyway).
>>4588012>this takes place before Second LightThat's kinda the crux here. Ao should not be involved with any of this. She is meant to be stuck in the eternal summer loop and then "disappear" from the world, till the girl she has the highest affection with finds her on NG+. Ao has no reason to be in Sun and the only way she could be is if everyone gets a memory wipe of her being there. Remember, everyone who came from the gacha remembered their "leader" and each other. But none of them knew Ao and vice versa. So that's why I knew that there is literally no way not to ruin her arc in SL if you include her in Sun.
>>4588015Basically, some timey whimey bullshit happens at the end and Ao just forgot what happened here. So, ultimately Sun doesn't even really matter in the grand scheme of things... outside of I guess with the new retcon, now when Ao flirt with Shiho, she is trying to steal her from her girlfriend.
>>4588005If I win you must take your sorry ass back to hell. Also you will have to pay my rent.
>>4588012>that's still pretty bad, not as bad as the gacha version, but still badWe should've expected this from hetshit hacks like Mel Kishida.
>>4588001it's insane how often Japs just have a complete lack of understanding of who their audience is. >build up audience of yuri fans>trample on it>try and backpedal (half-assedly) happened most notably with the valkyrie drive gacha, and Bandai's infamous press statement and censoring of VA interviews
>>4588046I don't think he is that involved in this collection outside of art, probably why they got away with making Shiho gay again.
>>4588056>Bandai's infamous press statementabout G-witch. forgot to clarify that
>>4588058He was present tnough to keep the male MC and have the girls fawn over him.
>>4587109How does this compare to the other HM-likes? Does it do anything better than stardewvalley gameplay or yuri-wise?
>>4588005Ded franchise
>>4588001Are you really shilling a franchise that trampled on yuri? Is your self-respect that low?
>>4588082Anon literally said he doesnt recommend it to anyone. Why cant you just accept that someone posts yuri trivia without getting triggered?
>>4588066I wouldnt really call them Harvest Moon likes anymore. Stardew Valley, definitely. I'd say the artstyle alone is clearly superior, but setting wise it's more fantasy leaning. And yeah there are like waaaay more love interests.
>>4588085Are the love interests more in-depth? Also do any of them make note that you're a girl, or is it just one set of dialogue regardless of player? The artstyle's definitely better than stardew though, had to download a mod that changed the character portraits in stardew
>>4588087Nah they just use "you" or the name you chose. There are way too many selectable pronouns for the game to keep track of. More in depth? How the hell would I know? You think I played the game 8 times to romance all female NPCs? The game came out a few days ago Einstein.
>>4588088>You think I played the game 8 times to romance all female NPCs?i never said you had to do all the romances, you should be able to get a general idea by the first one or two. You don't have to try out all 40 guns in an FPS to get a general idea on how in-depth the shooting is
>>4588088Wasn't it in EA for awhile?
>>4588104And? None of the romances were finished in EA. They only added the final heart levels and marriage in the full release. I also didnt play the EA.
>>4587109The marriage scenes were really cute
>>4588088I played it in EA, and now the full release. You got most of the game in the EA, though now you get marriage and extra dialogue and whatnot. I've played stardew valley and I would take FoM over it any day. Not because there's so much extra to do (the creator of sv is insane and doesn't know when to quit), but I think all the characters are much more fleshed out and interesting. I'm at almost 100 hours and quite happy with it. There's just so much unique dialogue, and I imagine more will be added over time. If you like these kinds of games I really recommend it.Though, as in all of these games, your character is a bit of a blank slate. A lot of relevant interactions will have you answer questions and you can make some kind of personality from it, but you're, you know, roleplaying. Rune Factory this is not.
alright, you convinced me. i'll buy it
>>4588165After 3 hours of playing, i think it's really good so far. although some character portraits feel like they're in a completely different artstyle (Celine and Juniper look straight out of a 90's JRPG, but the others not so much), and Juniper is leagues above every other girl (and it's not even close).I also can't tell if Valen is old or if it's just her white hair, because she's datable unlike the other grannies
>>4588145Yeah the blank slate thing is always a major turn off. One of the reasons most farming sims are unplayable for me.I really hope Neverway will be different, considering it has a mandatory female protagonist with a proper backstory. Also the spooky theming is more interesting to me than another generic farm life/city sim.
Skidaddle Skidoodle Mods have deleted the whole caboodle
Anyone remember the name of that AIslop game where it's a mix of X-Wing and some top down stuff? With the female MC. We discussed it a few threads ago. It's AI, but dammit the X-Wing stuff is up my alley.
>>4588396Max Savage prob
>>4588396Max Savage. And the only thing done with AI are the still images. Basically all other assets are human made. Even the voice acting is done by amateur voice actors.
>>4588397>>4588398Thanks. Quite cheap too. Cheaply made, cheaply bought.I'll report back when I'm done with my latest Sturmovik run.
>>4588399Stop bringing up your non-yuri games here. Nobody cares what off-topic games you play.
lmfao what a jokeWatamari Part2 is delayed because JP banks don't want to process overseas payment as they think "yuri = porn = yakuza activity"
>>4588407I want all financial institutions to die so I can trade yuri for seashells
>>4588407Since when did Japanese banks have any say in whether someone is allowed to sell porn anyway? When did the Yakuza start making money by selling eroge? Also nobody is fucking stupid enough to believe yuri is porn in Japan.
>>4588399I care what games you play.
>>4588414If they are not yuri, you can leave with him.
>>4588407how are banks and payment processors still allowed get away with this? Governments are fucking useless
>>4588415Make me.
>>4588416Governments don't want you to have anything either
>PoE II: Deadfire has a kinda "sensual" (not kidding, you should heard the voice acting) female sentient sword that appears to be receiving pleasure from cutting and stabbing monsters/people>Keeps describing fighting moves and combat in a highyl suggestive way>With a seductive voice>Develops attachment with female owners.>Even jealousy.Would sex with it be too cursed, given how it's a tool of (serial) murder?I guess using the hilt, perhaps some careful rubbing with the blade (swords aren't razor-sharp).
>>4588429Also, there should have been an option to keep the sword during the quest but agreeing to stay in contact with her pervious owner, and go visit her once the Deadfire business is over. And seduce her to have FFS threesomes
>>4588429I totally forgot about that dumb sword. WotR rippes us off by making the talking sword male. All talking swords should be female.
>>4588433WotR's one is a bro and not a clingy turbopervert. I would be a bit sad if it was a girl given the history of its creation.Though Modwyr is probably also a product of basically murdering a woman to animate a sword withe her soul (she doesn't remember her past life and is weirdly spirited and happy about being a weapon, for the most part).
>>4588407every government needs to introduce something similar to brazil's pix. Also Japan needs to stop trying to stop porn
>>4587966Looks like disabling unreal toolkit resolved the issue. Just in case anyone else has the sand issue
>>4588407No wonder, this is mega lewd. But can companies that only have to process the payments stop dictating what's right and wrong? I know they can't or sanctions or embargoes wouldn't exist but maybe a magical fairy grants this wish and absolves every videogame of this curse.
>>4588429>found in plagued ruins full of trash, zombies ad corpsesBUT>the hilt and pommel are round, should not be un-insertable
As an eternal greedy person my first issue with CRYMElight-o is that you can't pay the shopbunny. You can horde Spirits but later they don't show up in the shop that makes certain paths ingame totally useless. Also the unskippable start and recurrent tutorial prompts slow the gameplay massively down. Dark Souls would never. The card and character design are cute. But right now there are only two interactions between Alice and Mary. So not much to go off on. I get it's a gameplay / battle demo but at least let me get to the battlefield in a blink of an eye to properly evaluate it. Cute stuff. And some such.
Don't know if Poem of the Starherd has been mentioned but it is a farming sim with selectable protagonist gender and a focus on loli and shota
>>4588538Should also mention that if you get it on Steam, like 80% of the game is missing without the patch
>>4588401I for one enjoy knowing yurifags come from all walks of life
Dev confirmed on steam that Bathory has a lesbian romance as part of it's story; between the playable character and her human servant.
>>4588538Is the threesome scene that includes a shota trap avoidable?
>>4588564Can't say as I have yet to get into the game myself but the twins are probably a package deal if I had to guess
>>4588563Yes! I knew my gaydar would not disappoint. The devs had yuri in all their prior games and this female vampire theme was perfect.
>>4588540It doesnt matter where you came from just stop mentioning non-yuri games.
>>4588538I don't know the full extend but this is tagged futa by the dev. And instead of pointlessly spoilering that shota part as if you are supporting someone's secret het fetish, just say it has female and male romances.
>>4588568Or what? You'll complain on the internet?
>>4588571No idea why you want to get deleted so bad. Post about het games and see what happens.
>>4588574Not even that guy, I just felt the need to annoy you. Best thing you can ever do is report and ignore things, otherwise you just encourage more. It's the simplest thing, don't feed the troll.
>>4588575>I was trolling to tell you not to feed trollsBrilliant plan Miss Curie...
>>4588576No, I began purely with the intention of trolling you with my first post here: >>4588571Then decided to be nice and give you advice here since I felt sorry for you: >>4588575Sorry you got confused, mate.
>>4588569Played far enough to get the first sex scene with the female protag to make sure I didn't fuck up posting this here and she is indeed female and not futa
>>4588578I didn't mean that she is futa by default, I actually saw CGs that prove she isn't. Like I said, I don't know the extend myself. Either she can become futa via some kind of magic/item or there are futa love interests/sexable partners. I would be extremely cautious is all. Devs rarely tag games futa and don't mean it.Its worth mentioning that you can have sex scenes with most villagers, even if you can't romance them. PS: The twins are a package deal. You cannot date the sister without the brother.
>>4588563gameplay looks pretty standard, but the illustrations honestly did a great job capturing that Ayami Kojima style
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2378230/Neo_Junk_City/This game is finally confirmed to have yuri. At the very least the mutant rat girl here is an option (if you don't blast her I assume).Absolutely love the crazy cyberpunk style. Gynoid police protag, car chases like in those retro racing games and puzzles.
>>4588594>At the very least the mutant rat girl here is an option (if you don't blast her I assume).I like this game already, wanted to get another game like that after Anno Mutationen.
>>4588563I like how some of the game looks absolutely Tzimisce-pilled. More vampire games need to lean into the monster part.
>>4588594>If you don't blast her I assumeWhy wouldn't you blast her?Oh you mean like with a weapon or something?
So, about them yuri games
>>4588416They keep lying to the Japanese government but since they are overseas there is not much to be done.
>>4588579>The twins are a package deal.As long as they can be skipped, then that's fine. But with all that other shit, the game should just be removed from this thread.

>>4588747Funny that the more interesting Mass Effect clone isnt made by ex-Bioware, but by Owlcat.
>>4588670Did you not see that I mentioned if it was avoidable, then it's fine? Of course I know of het options. I'm talking about the futa shit. But if that's avoidable, that's fine too then.>>4588690>Still no replyAnon, this is /u/, I'm guessing you're new here. If I respond to you 4 hours later, that's pretty fast for /u/.
>>4588750Those two anons were replying to each other every few minutes until that anon made the question that the retard couldn't answer
>>4588750So when I said that they are marriage options and that you can pick like you can in all farming sims, thast somehow went over your head?On the futa part I can'rt say where it even factors in, but considering femc is proper girl, I asumme it's optional too. For example, same-sex couple adopt children, so there is clearly no consequential permanent futa option.
>>4588752>that the retard couldn't answerI am that anon, and I did respond now. If it makes everyone feel better, I drove to work after making the response and had shit to do when I got here.>>4588753Anon, my initial concern wasn't about the marriage options. It was whether or not the threesome with the twins that involves a male was avoidable. I don't know how the story goes in that game. I don't want to play it if the scene was required for the story. If it's not and it's avoidable. That's fine. You (assuming it's you) mentioned here >>4588666 that they are a marriage option and it is avoidable. That's good. Futa became a concern as well. And if it's avoidable, then that's fine. I know you want the last word, so if you do respond to this, I'll let you know now I won't bother responding. You can say what you want.
>>4588756How weirdly defensive you are when I have been nothing but helpful...
>>4588756I haven't gotten to whatever the futa thing is yet but any scenes ive found so far have had prompts to skip them
>>4588888Skipping is not avoiding. If it still happened and you just didnt have to see it, then that's no good. I assume you misspoke...
>>4588908Said scenes were simply a character showing you how to milk the "cattle". Nothing involving anything being done to your PC themselves other than them also milking them
>>4588916And by cattle you are not refering to female cows I assume... Was it this game that had the lewd farming mechanics? Fuck this.
>>4588888>>4588916What the hell is your actual point? You mention unavoidable scenes that you can skip, but the whole convo was about hopefully completely optional scenes. Being able to skip something het that is still canonically happening is not good enough, so you pointing to this would not actually help.
>>4588918More cowgirls and cowboys. You only seem required to get 1 but may be limited on some ingredients for cooking. You can get just female cows
>>4588927Right, so it is what I remembered, this stupid lewd milking shit. So you lock yourself out of a bunch of recipes by ignoring the bulls. Pretty fucking bad.
Today, on /u/, I literally bought an ad for my fave game.
Poor Scarmi... first her autistic vampire girlfriend is too prideful to ask for directions and when she finally gets over her ego, Dante and Virgil just take the piss. And on top of that her head is stuck in the water filled helmet.

Huge difference, imho. Aren't you here to be informed about the Yuri ingame? How do you expect this to play out? Somebody claims a game is Yuri without proof? Here? In this thread? In this timeline?
>>4589124Stop bullying him... He's not very bright.>>4589161It's not so much a deckbuilder, as it is a selection of buffs that you randomly get to select from as you level up. You can basically not go wrong as any weapon or mod card does something to help you. Some just synergize better. But it's not like building a complicated deck. It's just "do I want to hit them with blades or with lightning or with wind blasts" + "do I want my weapons to be bigger or crit harder".Not that complex. It's an action game first and foremost.
>>4589180Didn't ask.
>>4589161Try to see those cards rather as runes, gems or upgrade stones with different effects for your weapons. Want your weapon to apply poison? Pick the poison /rune/. Want to have a stronger poison? Combine more poison /rune/. Want it stronger? Well, more stronger stuff that makes numbers go up. Very random. Hope you are lucky.
>>4589180Fuck off already with your attention whoring.Try /v/ maybe there a clown like you gonna find better audience.
>>4589188You didn't ask? Isn't that >>4589129 (You)? I'm terribly sorry for being so presumptuous. Please forgive me for posting Yuri. In a Yuri thread. On a Yuri board.
>>4589192>I dislike the way you post Yuri! Are you maybe jealous of -my- editing skills and -my- shilling capabilities?
>>4589186I tried but it's very difficult because it's too much fun. It's like reverse marketing. It wouldn't be surprising if the person saying to stop the shilling is actually a clever marketing agent for AstralShift.
>>4589197>anon during for the last three threads
>>4589161it's the same as any vampire survivors style game except the devs put a rectangular boarder around the options this time. comparing it to actual deckbuilders they have very little in common IMO - the fact that some options affect the neighboring attacks instead of itself is the only real "spicy" mechanic about it
>>4589209
>>4588748Yeah.......I dont knowI tried to watch an one hour play of a Female MC from the Expanse beta and the dialog and facial animations were rough. I was hella bored watching them talk to this one guy complaining about work and offering to take his painting to his mom. And I'm someone stupid enough to have enjoyed those early AC Odyssey previews with Kassandra just doing quests.
>>4589218A beta is a beta, I assume at least the facial expressions will be solved, although that is really not very important. It's not like Mass Effect ever looked natural with the 2 1/2 facial animations everyone had.Writing is more important and maybe that particular dialogue was just very bland. We will see. Usually Owlcat has writing down pat, but they also tend to make verbose fantasy games and not snappy sci-fi action dialogue.
>>4589193>Please forgive me for posting Yuri. In a Yuri thread. On a Yuri board. As long as you don't do it again.
>>4589221Glad that it's SF so a pass for me, hopefully they will have more money and experience to do gripping and sexo cutscenes by the time they make BG4 or something like that, haha.
>>4589240They've had plenty of chances to step into the big league and I'm skeptical they'll ever do it if The Expanse isnt a hit.
This game just came out of Early Access. It's definitely not gonna be for everyone but I think it's actually pretty fun. The art direction is freaking great and the stories really lend themselves to yuri. And while you're a self-insert if you can actually say whatever the hell you want and get proper reactions to it, you can actually roleplay instead of just being treated like a gender neutral void.https://store.steampowered.com/app/2880730/AI2U_With_You_Til_The_End/
>>4589317No offense bot how the hell self-insert shit aimed at guys is yuri now?
>>4589318Oh poor shortsighted anon. The bots are in the game, not in real life. Silly goose.>aimed at guysLiterally not a single thing in the entire game is inherently trying to appeal to dudes. It is fully up to you how the girls treat you. Make a profile that clearly states you are a woman and they will always treat you like one. Oh and Witch's entire backstory is about how she was obssessively in love with her female friend to the point where she tried to ressurect her after her death and got exiled by her coven for it. Imagine believing that yandere girls are only for males. The tragedy of such a worldview!
>>4589322Ok so it's not a yuri game, but it can be yuri in your mind, hard pass.
>>4589323Pass on all you want, it would be really good for these threads if you did. But it's not really in your head any more than in any other game where you select the protagonist's sex. Except, ya know, the girls actually refer to you as a woman and will take everything you add to your profile into consideration. But true, how good the interactions are kinda depends on your own dialogue writing skills. If your conversations go bad it's an actual skill issue. That's hella funny
>>4589317Looks so much like Miiside.
>>4589323Please use a name next time from now on if you are so proud of yourself so I could filter your post out. Do us a favour.
>>4589317>AI game
>>4589221>Usually Owlcat has writing down pat, but they also tend to make verbose fantasy games and not snappy sci-fi action dialogueHow long we had to wait for them to actually finish Wrath of Rightehous, Kingmaker, or Rogue Trader as proper releases?Years for each title.I fear this new genre and mechanics gonna bury them.
>this Ai bitch actually thinks her love is real lol>>4589337Well sort of. All assets, all levels, all puzzles and the music are made by humans. The story itself and all the backstories are also written by the devs. The only AI element are the LLMs used for the girls dialogue, though they collared the bots a lot so they are extremely fused to their role and backstory. I definitely thought chatbots are garbage, but with proper set up like this it worked out surprisingly well. It does help that even in-universe these are all AIs who were created for a simulation. You are the only real person in the game and the reason you are in the simulation is because you had an accident and fell into a coma and your real life girlfriend is trying to restore you mind with this device that creates these simulations
>>4589341Their games are always full releases before any DLC comes out. Stop your hysterics.
>>4589357Are you retarded?Kingmaker was unplayable when it was released, other too needed hell lot of updates and DLCs to be good. So yeah for the games to be ok, we needed to wait years for each to get patched up from their beta hidden as offficial release state.
>>4589361You never played a single of these games. It's so obvious you are just parroting.
>>4589330I dunno which came first. AI2U used to be a phone app in like 2022 about ecaping a yandere catgirl, so maybe Miiside was inspired by that? Difference is Miiside is forced het.
>sci-fi story where protag's girlfriend died, so she made a spaceship AI based on her and implanted her memories into it>Earth gets blown up by a meteor, the space station is infected with alien crystal monsters and everyone else is deadHow romantic. She is the least yandere desu. She killed the whole crew to protect protag, but aside from that...Also she is a sassy bitch!
>>4587110Finally Ledgerbound got approved by Steam. 2 days delay is rough.https://store.steampowered.com/app/3315060/Ledgerbound/It's the SRPG with the romancable monstegirls. Protag is a defined female MC.
Finished Max Savage. Can't say I recommend it.First off, it's implied your girlfriend is bi. So there's that.Plot ain't interesting and gameplay is barebones as hell. If per chance you're interested in it because of the X-Wing gameplay, then don't. Too simplistic. And if you are interested, but never played X-Wing, then just do that. You're probably autistic enough to not mind the 90's gameplay. You can mod X-Wing vs. TIE-Fighter to the point that it looks like a modern game. And it's pretty good.
It's fucking gross that I have to share this board with a bunch of clankers.
40 hours later, and fields of mistria might be my favorite farming sim. The grind/progression balance is well done, always felt like i was working towards something. Lots of unique dialogue too, which can reference recent events and dates and such, and one of the tutorial popups said they were adding a larger heart cap to the game, so there's probably more. Some of the achievements are weird though, i would randomly get an achievement for something i did like 30+ minutes ago.Dozy moving in with you too if you marry Juniper is really cuteGetting roadblocked and forced to increase my bond with Eiland to 8 hearts at the final seal was annoying tho
>>4589547Also there's a lot of QoL things like the watering can having unlimited water, and the spells/offerings/statues speeding things up more as you go along, and it simplifies some aspects like not having different tiers of crops to worry about and only regular/golden animal byprodcuts. Animals all have genders in this game though and need different genders to breed, so i can't do what i usually do in older harvest moon and name all the animals after yuri pairs.I don't like the glasses cosmetics however, the half-rim ones especially just make your character look like they just got received two black eyes. I wanted to make a bookworm girl, but it didn't look right
>>4589534>girlfriend is bi...and? That is pretty much standard for most love interests in any of the games we discuss here.>play these non-yuri gamesHow about no?
>>4589547You can raise villagers hearts completely platonically though, right? I think it's pretty standard to try any max everyone out.>>4589552>glasses look uglyThey always do. Fuck glasses.
>>4589534>ai generated artEww….
>>4589560Will you stop whining already? Anon is literally not recommending the game to you.
>>4589561I don't see how anon1 recommending people not play the game somehow precludes anon2 further complaining about the game. It's not like they were taking a shot at the first post.
>>4589562Because neither of these posts actually focused on the yuri, so it doesn't matter.
Everyone's so sassy lately
>>4589573Purple dragon girl yuri summer
>>4589594She IS into polyamory though, so gotta remember that. Of course the only polyamory happening in this game is Rayna's harem, so that is pretty safe. But yeah the dragon is a slut. And yes, the game keeps track of who is polyamorous and monogamous.
You heard it here first folks, AURA is not a gender and all bots are girls. (Especially when they have literal breast molds and female voices)
>>4589621wtf is this dialogue?
>>4589631Former Helldivers devs made this, from what I know.
>>4589631Jazz is speaking in slang all the time. She is a parody of those extreme business types who are completely lost in their own world and think they need to replace every word with some stupid neologism. Sesh instead of session etc.The voice acting is pretty good actually. Everyone sounds really natural... in their over the top comedic roles. It's not a serious game.
...Is it getting hot in here? Damn had I known Shareholders are like this, I would have thought a lot more about my company's bottom line! Yes, Shareholders of your insurance company are literally portrayed as these angel like divine beings. So rich they transcened humanity and reality. And for every map you complete all objectives on you get coins that let you have more S&M scenes with Etheria... and get good equipment I guess.
>>4589618>reverse haremEh? How?
>>4589642In most circles a woman having a harem is called a "reverse harem" regardless of who the lovers are. Mostly because the only place where women had multiple love interests was Shoujo manga and the lovers were dudes. And a harem is a collection of female concubines, so it wouldn't have made sense to call that a harem (technically speaking).Of course in yuri it does in fact make sense, but the term reverse harem is still very dominant. And of course in Ledgerbound Rayna can date dudes too, so it's a better catch-all term.
>>4589642>reverse haremmultiple protagonists sharing a single waifu
Why there's always guys in the same pictures with the girls you as party goes, you can't dismiss them?
>>4589663That is not what that is.
>>4589664No, ESL, this is a story focused game where every character is set. You aren't choosing or dismissing anyone. You can however choose to never talk to any males during camp/rest moments. Which will make time management a lot easier actually! You only got 60 minutes and talking to people costs like...12. And changing gear and all other camp actions also cost time, so you will barely be able to talk to everyone anyway. But also if you don't level up their bonds you might not get certain upgrades for them. And talking to companions reduces burnout. So there is benefit to talking to the guys, but you can keep it completely platonic. Also the game would probably be impossible if you only used the female units in combat. Not that you have a choice. Or at least not up to the part where I am at. Maybe if you got the full party you can switch out characters.
>>4589667>Also the game would probably be impossible if you only used the female units in combat. Not that you have a choice.Ok then, not my cup of tea then, good to know.
>>4589669Seriously, I can't fathom being so insecure that you can't even handle controlling male units in a strategy game. That's autsitc levels of purist... Next you also don't want any male enemies or antagonists, right? Maybe not even the concept of having fathers? Only yuri mitosis or it's a no-go!
>>4589673I'd love that. The game that exists in my head that I will never make takes place in a yuritopia. All women, even the animals and aliens are all women and it's so nice, I wish you all could see into my head.
>>4589675If there are no men, who will be the fodder and the meat shields?
>>4589678The women.
>>4589675Enjoy never playing any games I guess.
>>4589679Good idea we need more games where we conquer an evil female and make her our bitch.Like we had BG3 and Minthara.
>>4589686There are more than two people on /u/ and different people can jump into a conversation at any point.
>>4589689Ok... so you are saying that you want your impossible yuriverse game, but you are also fine playing games with males in them? Welp, dream on. I think there are like 3 games no males exist and one of those is you setting the whole population to female yourself, so I don't know if that even counts.
>>4589694Anon, I'm merely fantasizing and have explicitly stated that such a game will never come to be.Now shut the fuck up before I fuck your mom.
>>4589695I literally just told you that those games exist... Well I don't know about animals. That part usually doesn't come up.
>>4589667You know all the love interests in this? I might buy it if there's a few hot ones.
>>4589709Yeah I know, because they have been revealed in promotional material for a while. Well, aside from the Shareholders, I did not know about them.I have no idea what you find hot nor do I care. Just check out the game page and trailers.Rayna is an actual person, not a self-insert though, so chemistry is a lot more important imo.
>>4589687What about games where we become the evil female to make other women our bitches?>MintharaToo hot to be evil
Alright I got Joy, the final female party member from what I know. You unlock her pretty late into the game though... kind of a shame. Maybe because of what she is, a romance with her is faster to unlock? Otherwise it will be really hard to catch her up to the others. As usual I won't post plot spoilers, but I intend to give my final thoughts on the romances and how all that stuff works later.
Wow, so... this game has actual sex scenes. Like no visuals, but they surprisingly describe a LOT. I dunno if there are any other yet, but this was pretty unexpected. Kinda hot too (screenshot is not representative, I missed most of it due to shock). Now I'm not so surprised anymore that the game was in review hell for a while. And yet the rating is shockingly tame.
>>4589761>buisnessLiterally unplayable
>>4589795Oh, what surprise. Horny game has horny scenes. I'm shooketh.
>>4589795>YouPass.
>>4589799Was a surprise to me. It's one thing to be flirty or to make crass innuendos, because it's mostly a comedy game. But full blown cunnilingus was still not on my bingo card for 16+ game. Especially because the bond events with the other girls have mostly been very tame to this point.
>>4589804It's the narrator. The narrator always addresses Rayna as "you". But there is rarely any narration, because most of the game is told through dialogue. Also what a joke. One guy wants this to be a self-insert game, another whines about 2nd person narration. Another bitch can't even handle males existing in the same universe. You are some picky sluts.
>>4589809>some picky sluts. You have no idea.
>>4589805Didn't they advertise the level of expected horniness by reading some raunchy X-quotes? X-Comments? Tweets? idk what to call them anymore. It would have actually surprised me more if they didn't steer real hard into that direction and owned the "too-lewd" outcry as a badge of honour. But can't be too "too-lewd" because of muhburgers. So no nipples allowed. However best Eldritch girl running around with just her 'eh-ehm-pff-hm' covering her spicy pieces? Totally fine.
>>4589809Oh mommy, people like what they like and don't want to conform what they like to your personal taste and prefer to buy games which give them what they personally like, shocking I say!
>>4589831Again, many projects flirt with lewd stuff and love to lean into it through innuendo. It's good for attention. But there's still a difference between acknowledging sex happens and writing it out. I mean these aren't some ergoe sex scenes with like 20 minute long walls of text and moaning, but still. I'm not used to 16+ games going this far.>eh-ehm-pff-hmI have no idea what this is supposed to sound out. Emfhm? Anyway it's her tentacle shadow hair that is covering the unmentionables. But they do love to point out that she is completely naked.I think Joy is written pretty well, because it's so easy to make this kind of design and character a cringy edgelord or just a tryhard monster. But she is really always balancing that line between creepy/otherworldly and sexy. Every time she hisses like a creature and shows her hundreds of teeth it's both funny and unnerving. The fact that she is kind of confused about Rayna wanting to bang her makes is a interesting angle.
>>4589833Well let me be frank here kiddo, if you make your purchase dependant on such an insignificant detail, you're kind of a little bitch. Sorry you had to learn it this way.
>>4589834I see your point. Personally, it would have been awesome if they'd gone one step further and dived into Fire Emblem territory and let Rayna pair up the girls with each other too. >tentacle shadow hairYeah, exactly that.
>>4589831What happens if you try to bang the robot?
>>4589836I've definitely felt some chemistry between the girls, true. I can totally see Sylvie and Jazz having a thing. I guess technically if you go for poly on the girls, there might be some implied overlap. It's actually really weird that ALL the female party members are polyamorous, while the dudes seem to be all monogamous (I have no recruited the last guy yet). This means male and female party members cannot mix in the harem, but the Rayna can literally date all the girls at once.>>4589837Pic related
>>4589837>>4589838
>>4589840As you can see she is a magic robot who is at least 40% liquid. Her entire midriff (and I assume prtivates) are made from a liquid gel held together by magic crystals. Don't ask me how she feels pleasure. Prolly magic.
>>4589838Have you seen her sex scene yet? Because that reads dangerously close to futa.
>>4589842>literally nothing even close to a dick is mentioned>futaRent free, you crazy bitch.
>>4589843Are you the anon?
>>4589845I am anon, yes. Real smart question there. No, I haven't reached her sex scene yet, but unlike you I'm not a paranoid mess, so I ain't indulging you.
>>4589835>preferences>insignificant detailNTA, but better being a lil' miser for your values than being unhappy for the purchase. I'm super picky. Don't like the poly stuff. However, I still bought it hoping this isn't as prevalent in the Joy Route.
>>4589846Geez what a bad marketer they sent.
>>4589847Sorry, but second person narration in some occasional textboxes is not a valid reason to crash out about a game. If someone hates grid based SRPGs, I kinda get it. That's a lot of gameplay to get through that you hate. Or if you really are super repulsed by relevant males being on screen a lot, I soooort of get it. It's a bit stupid, but it's at least a major element. >Don't like the poly stuff>Joy routeSorry sweetie, but this game doesn't have "routes". You just raise bonds with characters till you reach a turning point where you either go platonic friends or start dating. The choice is yours, so there is literally no poly unless you want it. "Polyamorous" is really more a statement on whether the love interest is fine with Rayna dating multiple people. It's not quite like someone's sexuality.Speaking of which, none of the bios feature a sexuality or gender section. Smart I guess. I'm still trying to discern who is bi or a real lesbian. Jazz is most definitely a bislut, that's the only thing I'm 100% on.
>>4589851People are weird like that. Anybody posting or lurking here probably has a reason or two not buying a game even if it has two girls smashing their Tulips together.>turning pointInteresting. So like any BioWare game where you go from "They just besties" to "They are planning their retirement together"? Did they code also the declination for the proposal from Rayna like: "Thanks for the offer, but you have not enough eyes?"
>>4589853>you go from toCorrect, there is literally a relationship level on everyone's character form. Starts at Aqauintance or something otherwise low and goes to Dating and above.>declinationI don't think that word means what you think it means. Rejection would be a better choice. And no there isn't that "talk", You actively make the choice to be platonic or try to be romantic when it comes to that point, but in general it's also up to you to steer convos away from romance if you don't want it.
>>4589842>"mechanisms for sexual pleasure">assumes futaFuck off, faggot
>>4589862>there isn't that "talk"I'm tear struck. There is no option to fend of any potential partners by proclaiming your indefinite loyalty to the mind-bending madness? Tsk, this is a clear C on writing.
>>4589864If a character is monogamous you probably do have to pick them and reject others or vice versa... but as the only monogamous characters are male, I don't exactly have a reason to find out.Unless the Shareholder lady is a proper option, but she doesn't have a character sheet, so I have no idea about her relationship status (you do have sex with her though).
Yes, I have finally reached a point of no return. If there are any relationship conflicts this is where I'd have to break up with another love interest.Good thing all the ladies are polyamorous then. Though I also haven't reached this level with anyone but Aura yet.
>>4590042Segs happens before the lock point?
>>4590060Depends on the party member. Jazz has to go through an entire friends with benefits arc before you can ever get to this point, so she has sex with Rayna before that. But generally, from what I have seen, no. Of course I don't know what's going on with the dudes.
>>4590069is the sex with the squirrel girl hot
>>4590076Haven't gotten there yet... But I assume so, she is a pyromancer after all and prone to literally exploding in flames when she is anxious.
>>4587110https://store.steampowered.com/app/4129770/Dream_about_yoU/It's out now.
>>4590137Hmm. How can we know if the game doesn't alter the writing if you pick a same sex PC/partner?
>>4590176>>4590137>Using fellow anons as poison testersEvery single time.
>>4590184I think I speak for everyone when I say the hall monitor should always be the first one to step into the fire.
>>4590192I think I speak for you, when I say:Rent. Free.
>>4590176I don't even understand this concernfagging attempt. What were you trying to do here?
>>4588001I don't care that he ends up losing. I didn't want him in the game to begin with.
>>4590243Was it really that hard to make her the Mc instead? Seriously you piss off the 2 people who liked sun as is and the rest of us who don't want him at all
>>4590245Again, this is Mel Kishida's "vision". The male mc was necessary because he said so. There is no real reason. The fact that (what I assume to be the other devs) have snuck in the cucking route into Quartet is pretty funny, but as established the male mc wanking did not go away in this version of SUN either, so it's still a worthless game.
>>4590246Hopefully someone autistic enough mods him out of the game then
>>4590252Extremely unlikely. That would take 10 times the effort of just replacing him with a female model and changing the pronouns/gender specific dialogue. And I doubt anyone would even do that. There is simply not dedicated playerbase to care enough anymore, because they completely tanked their own goodwill.
Completed Divinity Original Sin 2 with an OC Donut Steal and romanced Sebille and made Lohse cryPretty goodThe romance scene was beautiful though delivered in a kind of awkward way, she refers to you as darling and has a few additional lines here and there throughout the rest of the game which is great since I hate romances that just forget you're an item when not in the designated romance scenes, epilogue was slightly annoying as it just mentions Sebielle wanders around the world without mentioning your character with herAnyone who enjoyed BG3 should give DOS2 a shot and I'm very, very much looking forward to Divinity now
>>4590259Made the mistake of not playing as either Sebille or Lohse yourself. OC is the worst choice in basically every game, but especially in DoS2.Sebille and Lohse have a bunch of unqiue interactions and the ending actually acknowledges them as together if you played either of them.
>>4590261Blame Lohse herselfI strongly considered playing Lohse and was a bit hesitant playing OC but as you may remember, Lohse calls you her wife in your very first interaction just to joke around with some kids and when I heard that I knew I had to have her as a companion instead of the player character so I continued on with OC.
>>4590264This does not explain why you didn't just play Sebille... Also how would you know Lohse calls you that without already having picked the OC?I played as Lohse which was probably the optimal experience.
>>4590266I literally just explained it to you.
>>4590268Are you stupid or just pretending? You pick your protagonist before you can have any interactions. So you can't actually know Lohse calls you her wife without already having picked OC. And she does the same shit if you play Sebille, so you have no reason not to pick Sebille. Even without that you have no reason not to pick Sebille as your protag in general.Talk about low IQ responses today...
>>4590269I told you I was debating between the choices and was hesitant to continue with my OC but interacting with Lohse made me stick with her. You're the one that made up all the extra details to get mad at, you must be that guy everyone hates.
>>4590271I am starting to think you want to be hated for making such stupid posts...So I will try to be charitable and not stamp you off as a moron right away. You either meant to say you tried out the intro twice, by switching between Lohse and OC or that you immediately picked OC and then didn't even try the other options (the thing I said you did). "Debating who to pick" does not convey which of these two things happened.I didn't make up anything extra by telling you that you are an idiot for not just picking Sebille as your protag. You have just decided that it's OC or Lohse for no reason.
>>4590282>You have just decided that it's OC or Lohse for no reasonYes ESL-kun, I narrowed it down to the choices I was personally interested in at time....that's how people function.
>>4590283Right, Mr. Moron, you certainly did arbitrarily make that choice without even trying anything else and against the advice from basically everyone. Good for you. That doesn't change the fact that you didn't even try Lohse or Sebille and that your original post was phrased vague enough that it could not be determined what you actually did, despite your flippant response, in which you pretend it was so very obvious. Also calling me an ESL is rich when you can barely manage to convey your actions in words.
>>4590284>w-why didnt you try literally every option instead of just the ones you're interested inIt's really fascinating you even have to ask this
>>4590286Except, you didn't even try. You just picked self-insert MC, had Lohse flirt with you once and didn't look back. Nobody would believe your claim that you even debated anything at all. You clearly didn't even try playing as Lohse, the thing you allegedly considered.I don't know why you are so obssessed with deflecting, but it's tiresome. We are done here.
>>4590289Still struggling with the concept of people making decisions that interest them I see. Genuinely strange to see this.
I love all these unique relationship terms everyone has. One gets the standard "Lover", but Joy just gets this primal... YOURS.
A friend of mine is making a yuri game, and just finished chapter 1. It's about 3 hours long so far and most of the yuri is in sidequests.https://yanda914.itch.io/cat-13-chapter-1Pic is art I made of one of the pairings.
>>4590312Cute art, but another Danganronpa death game thing? I don't think I can bring myself to do that again. It sucks even more for romance, considering basically anyone can die. And if they can't then it takes away the tension. Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.Good luck to you two though. It's still a pretty popular genre.
>>4590313>but another Danganronpa death game thingMost fangans go nowhere or self-destruct due to infighting and pedo allegations all the time. You can count finished fan projects on one hand (two including sequels), and the commercial clones are Witch Trials, which seems to be good and somewhat /u/-relevant, and everything else is either underbaked or also releasing in episodes once in a blue moon. There's certainly some market for new games like you said. And the shipping scene for Danganronpa, Your Turn to Die, and derivatives is still buzzing despite usually 3/4 of the cast ending up dead.
>>4590318No, the main example of a yuri version of this that is actually good is Fatal Twelve, fuck ManoSaba's nonexistent subtext. I can also think of several other non-yuri ones that were finished and successful, certainly more than one handful.
>>4590312Please tell your friend that one of the first anons who downloaded this is a retard who couldn't get past the first puzzle, stumbled upon the final clue by blindly spamming the interact button, running around the room, and still needed all the hints to understand that whole "change numbers to letters, then arrange a word out of them and think of another set of numbers" jumps needed for the password.
>>4590320I had the same during playtesting. The puzzles are tough, but you can just repeatedly ask for hints and eventually the characters will just outright spoil the answer.>>4590313Thanks, but I didn't really do anything on the game besides playtesting and trying to promote it a bit. It's all their hard work.
>>4590261Anyone who plays these kind of games with a set character only shows their lack of creativity
>>4590451False. Anyone who plays and OC doesn't actually care about real character dynamics and yuri. Because self-inserts are almost always cardboard cutouts and the game has to treat them with vagueness because it would be too much work to follow your imagination. A pre-made character can have options and interactions that were actually programmed in. The yuri is thus also more fleshed out.In general self-inserts are the laziest option. How often do games use fucking "they" to describe your self-insert, because even keeping track of pronouns is too much work for devs? To hell with that.
>>4590319Point taken on Fatal Twelve, I was stuck thinking of oblivious DR clones instead of the death game genre in general.
>>4590454If you played Divinity original sin 2, you would know the game actually does do a good job recognizing the player character is a woman.
>>4590454Sounds more like you actually don't know what you're talking about.
>>4590457I played DoS2 and they do the pronoun stuff, yes. That doesn't affect any of my points.>>4590460>absolute nothing deflectionOk, dismissed.
>>4590454Sort of but I haven't really encountered a game where you can also make an OC and where I'm really invested in the default MC and her relationshipsJust feels doubly unsatisfying because you couldn't even make the kind of "build" you wanted and the story was nothing special too
>>4590462Aside from the fact that most of the time the class and build are disconnected from what character you play.. Aren't BG3 and DoS2 prime examples? I would much rather play Shadowheart than playing Tav, because Tav is so undefined and has literally nothing to do with the plot. Being an outsider isn't always bad, but having direct plot hooks and seeing how they could actually write romantic interactions with Frog and Karlach that actually intertwine is so much better.Same with Lohse. Lohse is a defined character whose backstory actually affects her plot throughout the game. And her romance with Sebille feels more real than with the generic OC.Of course in general it's easier to compare games that have defined protags with games that only have self-inserts and see the sheer difference in quality of the writing for the protag.
>>4590465BG3 is lackluster for playing origin characters because you lose the voice acting
>>4590467You don't really "lose" anything, considering Tav/Durge also have none? You can only feel like you lose it if you had them as companions first. Also they still have voiced overworld/combat dialogue so you can still hear Jenny's posh accent all you like.I will take that for the opportunity to have very surprising synergies and unique dialogue from the companions, thanks. Would you ever expect Karlach/Minthara to be a good pairing? Well it is actually pretty damn good, because they let Minthara really lean into Karlach's story and traits.
>>4590461>dismissedGood thing your opinion is worth less than my toilet paper
>>4590465BG3 has Durge who is an origin character as well as OC only, and very clearly meant to be the MC of the story.
>>4590470Idk I didn't really like any of the girls in the game that much, certainly not enough to play as themMaybe one day
>>4590480It's half-assed. Outside of a couple of scripted scenes, Durge is literally just Tav. And because of that, Durge makes no sense and constantly breaks your immersion, specifically because they tried to give them a backstory without any limitations to your character creation.I am sick and tired of that "real MC" bullshit. The real MC doesnt exist. BG3 is a game specifically made not to have one. And people have analyzed it many times and Durge overall has actually very little main character traits. Their connection to the plot is flimsy at best and the whole thing literally just exists so they can nostalgiabait old BG fans who care so much about the Bhaalspawn plot.In fact by analyzing who has the most plot relevance for each Act and how they are set up, Shadowheart is literally the only character who could canonically make it through the entire game. She has the artifact from the get-go and she has connections to every Act and can realistically form a party and get support to finish the main story. She even connects directly to an old BG2 character and is fully capable of cooperating with the good aligned party members, without spurning the evil aligned factions.I digress. If we followed your retarded logic, Durge is also male dragonborn by default so we would have to assume the "canonical" character is male, which is unacceptable. Larian is not stupid enough to force that on people, which is why they literally never made any such statement.>>4590486Bitch, if you don't care about the characters or the romance between the girls, don't come to a yuri thread....
>>4590487>"Outside of her scripted scenes, Shadowheart is really just Tav"See how dumb your logic is?
>>4590257Happened with Kasumi in P5r and Kotone and P3r so never say never >There is simply not dedicated playerbase to care enough anymoreBut I believe that's why it wouldn't happen anytime soon
>>4590487>Bitch, if you don't care about the characters or the romance between the girls, don't come to a yuri thread....Didn't realize this was the BG3 and BG3 alone thread
>>4590491No, I said a FEW scripted scenes. And Shadowheart's backstory is relevant in every aspect of the game, unlike Durge's badly taped together nonsense that contradicts with every choice you as the player made in creating the character.>>4590497Correction then, if you don't care about the yuri in a game, don't discuss the game.
>>4590495>Happened with P5RYou didn't read the convo correctly. Anon said they should cut the male protag from the game completely. I said that is not going to happen, because even replacing him with a female protag would be EASIER. And I doubt anyone will even do that. So the complete erasure of any protag will just not happen.
>>4590487>I am sick and tired of that "real MC" bullshit. The real MC doesnt exist. It's a Baldur's Gate game. Which is famous for the whole Bhaalspawn thing. The entire game is a scheme by the Dead Three, and Durge was in fact the mastermind behind stealing the crown to subdue the Elder Brain with.Sound legit like a (you) problem that you can't deal with that.
>>4590508No you dumbfuck. I already explained exactly why the nostalgiabait is in the game and why it doesn't matter. The game never really commits to Durge. And CANONICALLY, in every single fucking playthrough except the one where you play Durge, he is a corpse in Orin's personal quarters. Durge's backstory as coming up with the crown plot ends in him getting betrayed and killed. It doesn't even make sense for him to get on a Mindflayer ship in the first place. Orin succeeding as the chosen of Bhaal because she killed Durge is how the game treats the story by default. Pretending a Durge run is what should be "canon" means you didn't get the point of the game, but ignoring the corpse in the room is even worse. You are actively ignoring Larian's own statements for your headcanon, you know? I will take the devs saying there is no canon protag over your mental gymnastics.
>>4590502What's so yuri about playersexual characters anyway
>>4590524Well genius, why are you asking me, who hates self-inserts? But as we are talking about BG3, that issue doesn't exist. Everyone is just a bislut. Unironically. Except for the non-playable characters. For those we actually have plenty of real lesbians in the game.
>>4590528>Everyone is just a bislut.So playersexual
>>4590541No. I assumed you were too dumb to even know what the term means, but thanks for confirming it.
>>4590550Functionally the same thing here or even worse when they'll walk off and shag Halsin if you're not interested
>>4590562Why we're *you* doing stuff with Halsin - which is what triggers the poly stuff with him - in the first place?
>>4590562>objectively not playersexual>if they are bisexual it's the same thingOh very "clever". Circular logic where characters can only be playersexual if you don't like their sexuality. You are objectively wrong about them being playersexual and it's not the same in any way. Shame on you for trying to wind yourself out of your own stupid trap.
Whoa, so towards the very end of the game you have an event where you can choose who Rayna will spend her last night with (sexually). And you can pick up to two of her lovers for a threesome (or just have another 1 on 1 scene).Yes, I romanced all 4 girls, sue me. But that also means you can basically have every possible combination between these 4, which is pretty cool. I picked Aura and Sylvie btw. Not that this affects anything.
>>4590749>Threesome scene>Where it's reportedly said that all guys are monogamousI might be the one anon that's too woke, but this sounds like the devs are going for the lesbian fetishization route, desu.
>>4590759One of the dumbest takes I have ever seen. How do you have lesbian fetishisation in a game with and equal amount of male romance options? And that's leaving aside the proper relationship set-up for all the girls. Also not entirely correct. The suicidal cuck is also polyamorous. I just didn't have him in my party yet when I said all guys are monogamous because he joins towards the last third. So technically you could invite the dude... if you didn't friendzone him. But they made him so incredibly pathetic and subservient that it's hard to imagine anybody wants to romance him. And if Rayna told him to sit in the cuck chair and watch he would.
>>4590763Males are the ones deserving of proper singular romances, while the girls (and the one pathetic, emasculated loser as you described the exception) are all free to fool around, diluting the romantic bonds and making it seem that the gays are naturally more promiscuous.
>>4590764This viewpoint only makes sense if you consider monogamy an inherently better thing, which is entirely subjective. And it ignores that this decision is up to (You). If you wanna have a monogamous romance, literally nothing is stopping you. There are even dialogue options where you can be explicitely against sharing or say you don't like it if one of the girls looks at someone else. The point is, if you were forced into threesomes or something, maybe you could pretend that it's just for fetishisation, but the fact that it's not means that this just caters to people's preferences.I mean, yeah sucks for the hetshitters who want to fuck all the guys at once, I guess. But the selection they gave them is not exactly suited for that to begin with. I won't go into too much detail, but het ladies really have it hard here with their male romance options. An unwashed hobo who kisses rats, a self-absorbed pampered princeling who treats Rayna like shit till the late game and the suicdial cuck who can't stop simping for the Queen. The only decent option is the enemy combatant you take hostage and who eventually joins your party. He is the only normal guy and plays into the whole "dangerous attraction" angle which lots of het romance fiction for women loves to do.I'm not into guys, so I can't tell if this is attractive to straight women, but I think the female romance options are a lot more likable.
>>4590517>REEEEEEEEEEEEEDon't care you dumb fuck
>>4590562>>4590721Yes and no. During the EA, there was actually mentioning of the party members also hooking up with each other (Lae'zel could bang Astarion or Wyll for example), which was ultimately removed from the final game. Which ultimately makes the characters largely playersexual for all intents and purposes, even though they were clearly not planned as such.
>>4589547>fields of mistriaThats sad i was consdering getting it but getting forced to level male bonds is silly, this is a nope from me.
>preferences>insignificant detail>Is on a yuri board.
>>4590860I have a deja-vu.
Any game with Lesbian mc that isnt bisexual ?
>>4590863Considering lesbians can't be bisexuals, any game that features a game with a lesbian MC.
>>4590817That is not how that works. By showing attraction to other characters or having had prior relationships that establish they are bisexual, they are automatically not playersexual. Playersexual is a buzzword for the concept that characters have no defined sexuality and just are fine with whatever your protagonist is, because it's the protagonist. They can be 120% written like they are het, but for some reason they will date your female protag without ever acknowledging that she is a woman or that she is attracted to women at all.
>>4590860Everything except the yuri is optional and irrelevant of course you dolt.>>4590896This gal gets it.
>>4590920Well, but that's the thing. The vast majority of them don't show any attraction outside of the MC anymore. You have, who, Shadowheart showing attraction towards someone else (though doesn't act on it alone)? A bit of a far cry from Lae'zel banging one of the others you didn't during the Act 1 celebrations.
>>4590957Are you retarded? Literally every party member shows attraction to both sexes. And several of them have very clearly spelled out prior relationships/sexual encounters with both sexes too. You are arbitrarily moving the goalposts to something that isn't necessary (them actively pursuing sexual relations with someone during the game).I don't want to discuss all the hetshit in the game, so do me a favor and research it yourself by, I don't now, actually playing the game? All of this comes up naturally and if not, you can look up videos of dialogue you didn't pick.
>>4590973>And several of them have very clearly spelled out prior relationships/sexual encounters with both sexes too.Only Astarion, Halsin and Shadowheart. And the latter only because she shows interest in Karlach initially and clearly would like to fuck Halsin, not due to any past relationship, unless you wanna count the troon. Everyone else? Nope.>I don't want to discuss all the hetshit in the gameThen maybe don't try so desperately swing the bisexual baton. The only /u/ in the game is Isobel and Aylin.
>>4591077Holy fuck, this idiot seriously doesn't know shit, but acts like he does. Shadowheart has dialogue about everyone at the Sharran cult used to have orgies and were encouraged to fuck other members freely. She is very openly into Karlach, dated the "woman" from her childhood in the Sharran temple (there is no actual proof in game it's a troon, being voiced by one is not proof) and yes, she is totally fine with a Halsin threesome.Lae'zel has dialogue about how sex is domination in Githyanki culture and how she used to fuck her sparring partners (implied to be regardless of their gender). Astarion is fucking Astarion.Gale has a bunch of innuendo when you play a male character that he has experience with other dudes (and obviously he was Mistra's lover).Karlach had a sexual relationship with a female demon (even though she hated her). And if you play as Karlach she has an unavoidable fantasy about banging a dude if her fire stops burning her lovers.Halsin is open to fucking anyone in camp.Minthara is explicitely open to relationships wth women, but considers males inferior thanks to her culture. But she has remarks about how she finds Gortash hot.Jaheira and Minsc don't count. They are just bonus party members and aren't romancable anyway.Wyll is the only one that I don't remember having any hint of being into men outside of player romances. I do remember him making a thirsty comment about Halsin though. But all of this can be skipped if you consider that all your party members are willing to fuck the Drow siblings at the brothel in Baldur's Gate (male/female). I can already predict that you are the kind of fucker who will try to deflect that point, which is why I first pointed out the personal cases above.>then maybe don't tell me the facts>all f/f relationships don't count unless they are 100% lesbianOnce again deflecting from the fact they are not playersexual. And you fucking moron don't even know about all the other lesbian NPCs. What a clown.
>>4590920>By showing attraction to other characters or having had prior relationships that establish they are bisexual, they are automatically not playersexual. That's not what playersexual means. They'll romance the PC even if it's a hermaphrodite gnome, they're playersexual. Look up the definition sometime
>>4591077>The only /u/ in the game is Isobel and Aylin.Inaccurate. There is also Alfira and Lakrissa, and a fair number of random NPCs throughout the acts who are gay. e.g. the paralyzed tiefling in Emerald Grove is taking potions from the hag to get stronger because her wife died and she feels helpless. >>4591097>there is no actual proof in game it's a troonAlso inaccurate. Shadowheart literally talks about him being a tiefling BOY and the guy talks about how Shadowheart helped him figure out how he wasn't happy with who he was and also would correct the other Sharrans when they deadnamed him.
>>4591118>deadnaming an infernal is too far for a cult that worships a NE goddess of night, darkness and forgetfulnessWhat madness is this?
>>4591119>too far for a cultNo, it's Shadowheart being protective.
>>4591097Shadowheart's only fine with a Halsin threesome if YOU start showing pursuing Halsin. Don't believe what /v/ermin say.>Minthara is explicitely open to relationships wth women, but considers males inferior thanks to her culture. But she has remarks about how she finds Gortash hot.Never come across this Gortash dialog myself, nor have i heard about it from anyone else who's played bg3. then again, she's also had bugged dialogue that's still getting patched out from when she was a different character entirely.
I bought The World Well: Blood of Caro. It has no reviews yet. Idk when I'll get around to playing it but i like sci fi and vampires and the art looks good
>>4591116You are literally making up your own definition and think nobody would notice? Your example betrays your lie. There are no hermaphrodite options in BG3, so you have literally zero basis that they would be fine with that. And nothing says a bisexual wouldn't be into that. No idea why you even mention gnomes as if that is unusual in D&D...How is it too complicated for morons of your caliber to comprehend that when a character already shows they are into other people, male and female, it's not the player they flip their attraction for? By your retarded logic literally every love interest in every game is playersexual, because they are attracted to the player. What a worthless term that would be.
>>4591118Huh, I forgot about the troon thing then. Not really relevant to my point anyway. At least someone know about the other lesbian characters. Hats off to you.>>4591119It isn't too far for the cult, it was too far for the troon. Come on, keep up.
>>4591133>she is fine with a threesome with Halsin, who she repeatedly showed attraction to because she thinks he is hot, if you pursue himHow does this change anything I said? I don't know what you are trying to accomplish with that. If it is that she somehow is fine having a threesome with a man without being into him... that doesn't really make sense. I am not of the opinion that a "lesbian" would be fine having a het threesome, would you? So it wouldn't change her being bi. But like I said she makes comments about Halsin being hot, like basically the entire camp. Fucking Wyll does. If every character had a threesome option with Halsin, then maybe you could treat it as a generic interaction, but alas, that is not a thing.
>>4591135Tell us how the translation looks when you do. I am worried that chink games and EN translations don't mix.
>>4591161I believe other characters - but not all - can have a three-way relationship with Halsin and the player. It's not a Shadowheart-specific thing. So i'd say it is a generic interaction.
>>4591135seconding this >>4591164I played the demo and the translation was pretty bad, and not well programmed either
>>4590850They're not romantic bonds, his bond events are just tied to the events of the main story. I just don't like it because it stalled my progress for an entire season. It stops at the event where you decide to call him a best friend, or confess, and then you don't have to interact with him anymore.
>>4591181Companions who absolutely refuse are Gale and Wyll (because they hate poly).SH, La'zel, Astarion are fine with the threesome in Act 1. SH and Lae'zel are not fine with it in Act 2 onward.Karlach literally can't be involved in the threesome, physically. And the moment she gets her infernal engine in control she is super posessive and monogamous. You can't have Minthara and Halsin in the camp without cheats in Act 1, so no threesome, although she is fine with poly when you recruit her in Act 2.So 3 characters will go along with it. And every last of them at least has flavored dialogue that shows why they are fine with it. I don't see it as a generic interaction if it's that specific. We aren't talking about selcting a prompt and all your love interests just agreeing by defaul without elaboration and then the scene happens. You have seen that all three of them find Halsin hot, right? So there's not really much to add...Let's just be happy that you can completely avoid this entire disgusting interaction.
>>4591195Don't bother anon. He doesn't care that it's not romantic, he hates the idea of interacting with males on principle. We got a couple of excessive puritans here.
>>4591198Minthara's strictly monogamous and very possessive. Heck, she'll break up with you if you have a fling with Mizora and will threaten to mutilate you if you show interest in the drow twins. I'd say it say the Halsin poly stuff is generic in the context for Halsin-specific interactions.
Not the anon from before, but I have played the first 20 minutes of Blood of Caro. Leaving aside how amazingly cinematic and dynamic it is for a VN, this is definitely Nasuverse level of made up terms to keep track of and complicated phrasing. So even the best translation would still struggle. In general I think the translation so far is fine. There were some occasions of words being missing, spaces between words being missing or typos and a couple of pronoun mix-ups unfortunately. Not as dense and detrimental on the overall readability as the MTL garbage I ususally encounter on chinese games, but it can still be disruptive. There was a line very early on where a character used "I" to describe what another guy did, which completely altered the meaning. If I wasn't so quick on the uptake this could have genuinely confused me. This is an issue I usually only experience on machine translations, because they will fuck up the perspective all the time. But it can also happen if a human translator just misinterpeted the perspective. The fact that it has only happened once in 30 minutes might be a good sign. That being said, I think this story and set up is worth these downsides for now. If the game can make a excessively detailed lore dictionary understandable then that's a step above most TLs I regularly suffer through. If the story hooks you, it's probably worth playing.
>>4591221Minthara's bugged and also inconsistent. It depends on who you have poly interactions with. I didn't know she hates the drow twins though. On my one playthrough where I didn't kill her, I didn't really take her to the brothel.Your Halsin comment at this point just doesn't make sense and sounds like you grasping for straws. It's not a generic interaction. Period.
>>4591222PS: These screenshots are of the errors in the translation. Most of it is not like these.
>>4591223She's been consistent enough in my playthroughs. What's remained consistent and is generally agreed upon is that she's a strictly monogamous romance option. My Halsin comment is emphasising that the poly stuff is more about Halsin himself rather than specific companions, as unfortunately and annoyingly, he's the only poly romance in the game.
>>4591151>By your retarded logic literally every love interest in every game is playersexual, because they are attracted to the playerHey, you try romancing Panam as a female character in unmodded CP2077.
>>4591232So they are only not playersexual if they are het? By defintion Panam is not a love interest for female V.
>>4591232>>4591268Why romance Panam when there's Judy? A better use of modding is to make Judy's posterior as good as Panam's, which is the only thing Panam has over Judy. I wish Meredith was a proper romance, though.
Persona 5 Royal with Kasumi as a protagonist mod is a lot of fun.
>not playersexual if they are only optional for hetIsn't that the point? I've lost the plot of the discussion long ago. Wasn't this already established? Playersexual -> NPC rolling with everything the player throws at them
>>4591316>>4591268I'm so confused I forgot to quote.
>>4591268And Judy isn't an option for male V. Ergo neither of them are playersexual
>>4591311Indeed. Way better than vanilla too, which is rare for a mod.
>>4591321As I said, that's not how it works.
>>4591344Why are you not answering (me) >>4591316? Is it because I misquoted? You should ignore the mishap because I demand some attention. Have we or have we not established that playersexual is basically that the NPC is fine with any player character model?
>>4591344Feel free to google "playersexual"
>>4591350>>4591356Neither of you knows what the term means.
>>4591376Come on, hit me. Tell us. Don't keep us in suspense.
>>4591381I literally told you several times. How many more times do I need to repeat myself?
>>4591395Me. Me! Only us! This hivemind part did maybe forget. Maybe it's best to revisit (roll a 6 or higher)?
>>4591198You can't really start anything with Halsin in Act 1, since he only joins in Act 2 so how would any of them be fine with it when it can't even happen? Or did they change that in the final patch?
How much longer are you retards going to argue semantics?
>>4591418Idk, how much longer can you endure it?
>>4591418But arguing semantics is my favorite yuri game...
>>4591418How else will I prove that I know more about lesbian video games than the other two posters here?
>>4591416They didn't. Anon's is misremembering things.
>>4591164>>4591188I'm a few hours into it and the translation is rough unfortunately. It's readable enough but you have to kinda correct mentally the layout of words. Some parts are perfectly fine but other times it's very AI/MTL feeling. The story is understandable enough but I get the feeling they didn't actually pay anyone to translate. I enjoy the visuals and what I've pieced together is decent but it's not something I would recommend to everyone.
>>4591222I didn't see your post before I posted mine but yeah I'd largely agree. Its not unreadable you just have to mentally correct what you're reading at times. I still do feel like they probably used AI to translate it which is why some sentences also just feel very stiff to read.
>>4591476unfortunate, but expected. did the fix the text wrapping in the text log? in the demo it would just overflow and overlap onto other lines creating a garbled mess
>>4591478I haven't encountered that issue so I'm going to say yes but I also play full screen on a 1440p monitor so I don't know if that might be a problem on a different sized monitor or outside of full screen
>>4591416He is at your camp before Act 2. And the threesome dialogue can happen before that.
>>4591476>>4591477I see so it doesn't get better. At least it also apparently doesn't get worse. I'm definitely gonna keep playing when I have time.
Investigative game that I'm currently playing turned out to be surprise yuri. amazing.
>>4591512It's not actually yuri, it's just subtext.
Immoral swindler merchant x psychopathic high functioning autist.Their character development is amazing, slowly mellowed out to each other. They were both very rational, calculating people. We see much of their internal struggle when they decided to do irrational stuff and risk their own lives to save each other.
>>4591513subtext is yuri
>>4591514Still just subtext. There is no actual yuri by the end.>>4591515No. Subtext is subtext. Trolling attempt stopped.
>>4591516
Even Hella Yuri didn't list Staffer Retro, because Hanako herself played the entire game and deemed it to be goggling. And Hella Yuri will list basically anything.
>>4591518he's wrong
>>4591519*sheAnd thanks, but I will take someone who has actually played it over you, random anonette fishing for 3 days straight and still failing to bait.
>>4591516Not anon the anon you're arguing with, but subtext, or for that matter, "The emotional relationship between the two girls is central to the story, but there's no indication of sexual attraction" is very much still within the bounds of yuri for pretty much every appreciable group (JP, non-JP east, west, /u/) which possesses a definition of yuri.
>>4591521No. "emotional connection" is not romantic by default. You can have a "emotional connection" with your friends or grandparents or banker if you want. Hanako specifically pointed out they show no romantic attraction either. Yuri be definition is romantic or sexual relationships between girls. Neither of those and you lose. Now come on, this bait is only getting staler...
>>4591523>"emotional connection" is not romantic by default. No one said it was.>Yuri be definition is romantic or sexual relationships between girls. This just isn't true, though. The Japanese consensus absolutely considers explicitly platonic "we are super best friends forever" shit to be yuri. The western circles engaging with yuri also consider that to be valid yuri. So whose definition are you attempting to use? Your own? That's fine, but also you yelling, "No, no no! I don't think that is yuri" is meaningless outside of some list in your own personal steam library labeled "yuri games". Language is decided by convention and in this case, the convention disagrees with you.
empty bench in the middle of nowhere is yuri
>>4591528Oh you are that shitposter. The idiot who keeps lying abot how the "consensus" for yuri is platonic shit counts. I shouldn't have treated you like a real person. Your lies have never worked, you know? Yuri is romance genre in Japan and only a very small movement of idiots supports the "everything is yuri" bullshit there. And lying about Western yuri communities accepting platonic friendships as yuri is even more idiotic. Who are you even trying to fool? Begone.
>>4591533Is this shitposter in the room with you right now, ESL-chan?
>>4591536Strange that you have been trying the ESL angle for a couple of days now. It doesn't even connect to anything. Anyway, you are the shitposter and you are boring. End of convo.
>>4591537>It doesn't even connect to anything.>Yuri is romance genre>Yuri be definition is romantic>how the "consensus" for yuri is platonic shit countsIf you are getting called ESL by multiple people (because I have no fucking clue who you are or why you think you are someone noteworthy, and my single post in this or the last game thread is >>4591118) it is because you are consistently making syntactic mistakes that you do not recognize as mistakes, because you are ESL.
>>4591539Sorry, let me preempt any confusion: my single post *prior to the start of this conversation >>4591521
>4591539>4591540Trying way too hard
>>4591514it's yuri
>>4591543Out of context. Desperate.
>>4591543already flirting
She was hurt by her betrayal and got to hate her, but still wants to love her.
>>4591547>>4591548Unbelievable what low level of messing around you pretend is romance.
>>4587109I beat Ledgerbound, so here's my short review:All the female love interests are great (minus one maybe).Jazz: Bislut with emphasize on the slut unfortunately, but during the whole game she won't engage with any dudes (unless you specifically cause this yourself). She talks like a retard wannabe business bitch and it's annoying, but she is also pretty funny. Her romance arc is interesting for someone who should be a slut.Aura: Magical gynoid with the power of healing and lots of secret sexual functionality. It's incredibly how the voice actress was instructed to sound like Siri, but has so much genuine emotion in her delivery. I did not expect to like her as much as I ended up doing. She is fine, sweet and refreshingly petty at times. My Rayna picker her as her main love interest.Sylvie: A manic squirrel with pyromancy... what the hell could go wrong? Nothing actually, she might explode a lot (literally), but she is the sweetest acorn of the bunch. Genuinely my spirit animal. Cherami Leigh is a fucking legend.Joy: Scary alien monstrosity with tits? Hell yeah. They keep her alien nature intact pretty well. She has animalistic traits and is still unnerving even late into the game, but she also has a primal love that nobody else compares to. Loving her is like cutting yourself. Makes you feel alive!Etheria: Shareholder. The way to romance her is to be very good at fulfilling the objectives on every map. And you gotta be very evil at the end of the game. She is very good at the whole S&M thing. Has the hottest sex scene for sure. She is also disconnected from the rest of the romances, so she is free game... I guess?
>>4591713Story. Very satirical, pretty funny. But some actual good worldbuilding. Lots of twists that are actually not undercut. Because there is no manual save feature, the game lets you stew in your decisions. You only got one shot at every decision so be sure about it. The finale (which isnt even a battle) is very stressful exactly because your ending depends on your choices in that confrontation. I got a pretty good ending imo, letting Rayna escape her corporate shackles and becoming truly happy with her harem.Gameplay. Very fun desu. There are a lot of very refreshing features that set it apart from other SRPGs. There is a lot time management, even during camp. You can equip gear that gives entirely unique abilities to characters that can be very absurd. There is an ability that lets you instakill anyone who pays taxes, to give an example. The way replaying maps is integrated into the game is also really charming. Rayna will literally recreate the mission on her game board with her self-made wooden pieces and voice act all dialogue for all characters (she takes some big liberties with what was actually said). I have genuinely never seeen it handled in such a fun way. It makes you want to replay all maps just to see the board game version.Sometimes objectives come in mid-mission which makes it hard to perfect some maps on your first try. But I assume that's because they want you to replay maps. It's still doable on Normal difficulty though.Voice acting is absolute top notch. Many popular video-game VAs and everyone brings their A-game. Art direction is phenomenal. The characters are already super distinct, but the world is also fantastical. Music has some bangers, but there are just two tracks stuck in my head because they repeat so much... Also I swear they used an instrumental version of some popular song one time.I recommend it. This is a proper female protag game with good LIs and even a harem option with big quality.
>>4591714PS: On the board game stuff. Rayna is like a serial shipper. She will ship girls with each other, but also dudes, so beware of that. The way she voices her companions is pretty funny too. There is this one map where you have to save some firecasters who are being slaughtered and you get this exchange about her telling Rayna to tell her wife she died bravely. I thought that was just another funny shipping joke, but then I remembered that on that island all female firecasters get exiled exclusively and that this lady probably actually has a wife. It's neat to have these kinds of background lore elements come together.
>>4591714Oh and I just need to mention this about the gamyplay because it was genuinely hilarious. During one mission you get a cursed ring that shrinks one of your party members. It actually shrinks their sprite and makes them talk in a chipmunk voice. The thing is... after the mission is over you still have the ring. And you can re-equip it to anyone. So you can spend the entire second half of the game with one of the character being half their size and with a chipmunk voice in ALL cutscenes and dialogue. (I gave it to the suicidal cuck because that was the funniest shit and because I didnt wanna ruin any of the female romances with this)
>>4587109Starsand Island left EA.https://store.steampowered.com/app/2966320/Starsand_Island/Seems some people are miffed about how it left early and seems to still lack some stuff they promised. Not sure if there will be many more updates. They had some issues with a lot of small stuff, like a minigame being copyrighted and shit. With Fields of Mistria out it's probably not the first choice, but I think visuals wise and being 3D, this is still one of the best looking farming sims.
>>4591731>like a minigame being copyrighted and shit.kek what

I think she's the least interesting, though yuri cursed Little Mermaid is kind of my thing. Thank Madokami she can switch her lower half between fish and human.
>>4591756I'm not that anon. Technically yuri should be about romance but basically anything where two women interact in any capacity is classified as yuri so the label doesn't apply anymore if you want actual girl-on-girl romance.

So relying on reviews as your frame of reference is pretty pointless.
>>4592169unintentional yuri means it's naturally yuri. it's pure, just like love at first sight.
>>4592171It's unintentional and also not actually in the game. So it isn't yuri. If I told you my game is yuri even though there is no yuri in it, do you just believe me? >>4592712I sure hope that this was before the friend was involved in anything disgusting...Het rape doesn't belong on yuri games.
>>4592148Far as I know, no. You can make your own campaigns with flavor text of course, but it's more of a sandbox. Unless you specifically make some overarching goals like "This is a lesbian species who wants to conquer the world to spread the lesbian supremacy" or other vague generalist things, it won't really happen. There are a couple of mods to turn all units female, to help facilitate that if you want. But most major mods are visual, add new classes and units or add new cultures and spellbooks.
Good marketing.https://x.com/AstralShiftPro/status/2090891940883825111
>>4592907Marketing them by making the love interests smooch each other seems asinine to me actually.
Judging from CG completion, I'm halfway through the story. It's pretty much a sci-fi story with magic. So far, it's written like a JRPG. traveling from town to town, each town has its own mini-arc and action-centered climax. There's barely any yuri aside from 1 female NPC being canonically gay and one of the MCs being from the future where being gay is normal. There's also some China-wank with 2 important NPCs from not-China country spitting out chinese wisdom here and there in one of the chapters.I feel like this concept, this premise has a lot of potential if it wasn't written like a JRPG. I just want them to hurry up to find and assassinate the main target villain already, but it's a very loooooooooong way that they probably wouldn't meet them until the very last chapter.
>>4593061I'd say it's more set up like an anime with mini-arcs. JRPGs actually have an overarching plot they are working towards constantly. The only time they wouldn't is with side-quests.What you describe sounds like the point of the story is the journey, not the destination and that the writers cared more about the worldbuilding than the major plot. Though I am sure there will be quite the climax.>there is barely any yuriWell, if it follows the anime pacing, confessions and all that stuff happen towards the end of the story. So if there is anything it will happen very late. Or it will stay subtext, because it's a chink game and they would rather not commit to anything.

>>4593683Or you can pirate the game, play it without being tranny and thus play while not rewarding trannyshitI dunno why people here pretend giving money to the devs is the only way to play games
>4593683This is a falseflag dummy statement. It has no intelligent though or value put into it. It just hopes that you have an emotional reaction to the word "tranny" and hope that you don't think about it and then agree that it should not be "rewarded".The fact that games always featured options and choices that do not necessarily agree with everyone is pushed under the rug for the single volatile reaction. In most RPGs where you can have f/f romance, you can also be straight. Almost nobody (except autists) has ever gone for "don't reward het" when those games came up, because obviously, logically, you can just choose not to experience het in said games. Hell, many games have mandatory het relationships between the side cast in them and still, those games are relevant if the protagonist has a yuri romance. When a bot starts telling you to ignore yuri, because there is something optional for other people in a game, you can tell they don't care about yuri. They only care about hating something and use yuri as a lever to try and push you down the same slippery slope.
I can't stop reading Blood of Caro.this 2nd half is fucking insane.we went from sci-fi JRPG to hours of lecture on anthropology... with sci-fi.

>>4594134>Reading=Playing Come on chuds...get with the program.
>>4593985>Cyber ParadiseDoes the Curator hold some secret wisdom or why is this considered Yuri? Don't get me wrong, hopefully it is but I don't see it. It's not even out yet and there is no review from them. The website of the company also gives no clear information and is just as puzzling. It's apparently a sequel of a toothbrush fighting toilet plumes. Now it's a hacker woman fighting with her dog collecting memories in Cyber Paradise. I'm not drunk enough to comprehend this jump in story progression.
important question
Done. it's worth a read.DLC Epilogue is coming too.
>>4594163I can tell that reading is something you severely struggle with, that's for sure. If you're looking for chuds, go back to /v/.
>>4594165I wondered the same thing. Several of the titles in the "Upcoming" games section are hard to pin down yuriwise. Even if you consider that this sale included some "platonic yuri" games, stupid as that is, Cyber Paradise doesn't even seem to feature two girls.
>>4594180Was the plot resolution at least satisfying? I am glad that the yuri is textual, but this is kind of a full sci-fi raodtrip movie, so I kinda want to know if the story holds up.
>>4594288>resolutionThe Good ending is kind of open ended with "the world is working hard towards peaceful solution!" because the main villains are so right that our MCs can't really refute their logic, so we just violence mode just like in typical shonen anime. might is right amirite? In the Bad ending, main villain got everything he wanted, probably ended up realizing a spacefaring civilization with all the future knowledge he received. I prefer this ending and it's more fitting for a dystopian sci-fi novel. I also like the main villain a lot and he deserves everything.
>>4594290>kills millions of innocents in a utopian society where same-sex marriage is normal and kills a bunch of lesbians>man I sure love this guy!You okay in the head?
>>4594292they aren't innocent. it's a doggy dog world.
>>4594294I will take lesbians who do "bad" things over evil vampires, thanks.
>>4594296But what if the evil vampires are lesbians? Devs should add them in the sequel for deep and nuanced moral grayness in choosing between eternal lesbian blood orgies and free elections or whatever.
>>4594298I will admit, the prospect of lesbian vampires would change the entire moral spectrum.Luckily the antagonist is a disgusting male who kills lesbians so there is no remorse in slaughtering him.
>>4594134Which ones would you recommend?
>>4593934How do VNs always get an OP song no matter how low budget they appear? is it that cheap to find some random composer/singer girl?
>>4593934The blonde one seems to be a slut who goes with men. Ew. "Saving" her by making turn away from het sounds noble, but she is still tainted. The other girls seem more interesting. Especially the yandere.
>>4594499Depends on whether you like visual novels. If you don't there are onl 4 "real" games on that list. I recommend Cute Bite or Galaxy Princess Zorana the, because they are raising sims.If ya love VNs, then there is so much good stuff here. A Kiss For the Petals (aka SonoHanabira) is a classic and it's mostly standalone enough. Wanting Wings has multiple couples and ero content. The Chrono Jotter has great plot and mystery. Fatal Twelve is the only "death game" themed VN I will ever recommend. Sisterly Bliss has the unique incest angle, but definitely get the 18+ patch or it's lame. Also good: Love Curse, Nurse Love duology, UsoNatsu and WataMari.I would recommend Ne no Kami, but for some reason they only have the second one on here.
I don't think I have seen anyone mention it : "She doesn't know" is an upcoming yuri visual novel in 1bit style set in 1999. https://store.steampowered.com/app/3211430/BRIGANDINE_ABYSS/This was brought up before and released today. I hope it really does have some yuri. There are some promising interactions in the trailer.

>>4594762>Score: overwhelmingly negative >Anon waiting for someone else to serve as poison tester Every single time.
>>4595089You fucking retard. You say the same shit if it's Overwhelmingly Positive, so stop adding goalposts. Drop your lazy bait already. Asking if something is yuri is normal. Nobody needs to poison test anything, troglodyte. If someone hears about the game having yuri then that's worth mentioning and if nobody does then it's fine, it was a longshot anyway.Go back to whatever dumpster board spawned you.
