It's not a final fantasy situation where it's the same series in different universes, this is one sprawling world with multiple stories going on in a short period of time. Which really made me take the plunge. The writing is really good at first then it becomes a trainwreck but I've learned to enjoy it.Character writing is good but you have to expect a slow start since there's a lot of basic worldbuilding in the first game. I recommend trying the original Trails in the Sky FC or if you really want try the remake demo. Estelle is only based in FC however.

Do different hint skills on support cards have different hint rates? I'm currently using an MLB R Fatty to grind out a good groundwork parent. In 30 careers I've gotten groundwork a total of 3 times (with of course not a single one sparking) whilst I get hydrate from her at least once a run and even twice a lot of the time. Am I just extra unlucky or is the hint rolled within categories like blue sparks are where it first rolls if to give green/yellow/red/blue skill and then roll again within each category to decide the specific skill or something?

Got to chapter 2 of the remake, the game is neat. I don't mind going back to isometric graphics for SC, but I like how expressive the characters are. The game is extremely 2004 with some of its tropes. My only gripe is that the HDR doesn't look very good, I'll have to try reshade.

Vodka is better than Grass in case you have her at Lv3.

Lates arent too hard to train but I had to experiment with my deck and sparks a bit before I could make a good one. Went 9 star stam 9 star power, 4 speed 2 power and basically maxed our speed + power with mile S. I borrowed Oguri SSR but unfortunately Furious Feat didnt proc. If you have Vodka she gets it naturally. It’s just on your left but lasts for 1.2 seconds longer. Both boost your acceleration by a fair amount on that final stretch. I would advise picking up nimble navigator because they are very prone to getting blocked, but it’s all very rng. Ryan’s skill is good when it activates but its unreliable

The only good debuffer here is a blocker. But you dont run blockers if you already have a strong front. I honestly think having a condor as pace in the middle would provide even better insurance. but two fronts 1 late is probably the best combo. Good fronts are just hard to make and if they die then everything is relying on the late and its prone to being blocked

But you could also train nature to be competent ace WITH a hesitant debuff or two, think it over. Ive seen some strong natures actually win these races as late. But they’re not debuff oriented. They got furious feat and stuff.

If a skill has bad activation timing, it usually means it’s activating too late to have any meaningful impact over your position. Different skills activate at different times depending on the course and distance.
>>721700407You'll never know, that's why you pray so it activates at the best time, especially for acceleration skills.Accel skills are amazing when it activates the fastest on the final-leg, but some of it like On Your Left or Furious Feat has random timing, so you pray to get the earliest time possible to activate.Some of it has position check like Ryan, El, or Seiun uniques. So you pray to get the position rank you want when entering the zone it will activate (Final Corner Final-Leg for Seiun, Final Straight Final-Leg for El).
