This is the endgame and you will all eventually use it. $5000 GPUs is what they will use to push everyone towards streaming in the coming years.
>>729890747>Chinese hardwareI hope you live in a foundry
>>729890425It's a problem for them, Sony are talking about delaying PS6 for 2 years to wait it out, but Sony and Nintendo have much more ability to get around it because of their scale and can afford to trade on thin margin to just get you to buy in. The problem for PC is there is no making your money back on accessories or game sales so you have to pay full price for everything to get in. I think we have hit the limit on graphics and it will swing back to platform exclusivity over the next 4 years. PC growth is going to be restricted to developing countries on lower end hardware
All the doomers in this thread are hilarious. Gaming dying? Are you retarded? Half the planet owns a PS5 or Nintendo Switch. PC gaming might slow down but gaming as a whole ain't going anywhere.
>>729891850I think graphics have peaked nicely and it’s time to start developing skills with the tools available. There was this huge push for more that never seemed to stop around 2015. I think the tools are finally in a really good spot for developers to get comfortable with the systems available and how to improve performance and allocate resources. I don’t think PC gaming will go to the wayside at all, if anything PC will benefit the most out of the expertise people will have because their hardware can grant them a better experience.
>>729891850They wont be affected as much, but they will still get scammed, and in turn, raise the price of their consoles to match, which considering how expensive they already are now, might be too much for the average familyAnd therein lies the problem, this makes consoles less accessible, which was the one true advantage they had over pc gaming, if the PS6 gets released in 2 years at 800$ or something to that effect, which it very likely will because of these fucking prices, it will be DOA, even not counting the fact itll very likely have the same no games problem the PS5 hadPeople arent gonna spend 900$ for a gta6 machine

You even had to ask how much DCP enemies gave because you have no frame of reference. You asked for a number that meant nothing to you. >and you get some measly amount of DCP This is the part where you're making shit up. You have no frame of reference for how long it takes to get DCP. >Does that sound like a system that encourages experimenting?Time for me to talk about the actual mechanics because I know you're a faggot who argues about games you don't play. That number I gave is for every single skill. Every one. Most of the high cost skills are enhanced versions of weaker ones, so when you want to experiment you'll use the weaker ones and try them out. Augments also show you what they do so there's not real "experimenting" since you're just picking the stat boosts. On top of that, there's some skill overlap between some classes. So yes, it does encourage experimenting. You asked for a number so you can pretend that "experimenting" means fully maxxing one class before moving on to another, but that's simply not how the game is played. We've also been ignoring the fact that there are multiple in game ways to boost DCP gain.>And so we finally arrive at my point. No, we arrive at you asking for monopoly numbers and talking about a game you don't know shit about and creating fake, unrealistic scenarios.>It's grindy.Comment too long. >>729891197>>729891812Can you two shut the fuck up? Yes, it's a grind to max out all vocations. But also, you can easily do it in two casual playthroughs, which is what I did. But it's also totally unnecessary to do. You can use one vocation and beat the whole game without any trouble at all. Getting all the augments and shit from other classes doesn't really matter that much compared to gear, level, and pawns.
I'm replaying DDDA and something very noticeable is how snappy and responsive the movement feels compared to DD2. You press a button and it instantly happens. Climbing and clammering onto ledges takes less than half a second. Combat animations beside Sorcerer's charging are incredibly quick. Dashing and rolling is instant.I feel like Itsuno played a bit too much RDR2 and thought that slow "realistic" animation style would fit with DD2 as well, however it just makes the game incredibly annoying to play. Unlike RDR2 which is more of a life sim Dragon's Dogma always had a quick arcadey ARPG DMC/Bayonetta feel to it and the two styles simply don't match imo.

People love to argue endlessly about Java vs. Bedrock, like those are the only two choices that matter. “Java has mods!” they cry. “Bedrock has cross-play!” they shout. But while they bicker, they forget the true best version of Minecraft — the one that delivered the purest, most polished, and most fun experience the game has ever seen: Minecraft: Legacy Console Edition. Why Legacy Console Was the True Peak:1. A Complete Game, Not an Ongoing BetaLegacy Console felt done. It shipped with clean menus, intuitive crafting, tutorial worlds, and even official minigames. No fiddling, no mods required, no updates breaking everything — it just worked. Java? Always half-finished. Snapshots, bugs, and an endless “modding arms race” that leaves new players overwhelmed. Bedrock? Always chasing Java’s updates but never quite catching up, with stripped-down mechanics to boot.2. Accessibility Done RightLegacy Console was pick-up-and-play perfection. Newcomers could jump in without Googling recipes, setting up servers, or patching mods. The UI was made for controllers, not lazily ported from mobile. Java expects you to memorize everything or tab out to a wiki. Bedrock assumes you’ll put up with clunky mobile-first menus on your console.3. Local Multiplayer > EverythingFour-player split-screen. Simple. Seamless. Pure couch co-op joy.Java has no split-screen. If your friends don’t each own a PC and a copy of the game, too bad.Bedrock technically supports split-screen, but it’s buggy, laggy, and feels like an afterthought.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
5. No Corporate Bloat, No Modding ChaosLegacy Console gave you a complete game. Skins and texture packs were optional DLC, not shoved in your face every five seconds. Bedrock is practically a shopping mall disguised as a game, constantly nagging you to buy maps and skin packs in the Marketplace™. Java? Sure, it has mods, but it also has malware risk, constant incompatibility, and an overwhelming mess of launchers. Do you want to play Minecraft or debug your mod folder for three hours?6. Identity and SoulLegacy Console had charm. The tutorial worlds. The nostalgic music. The carefully balanced world size that encouraged exploration without overwhelming you. It was a crafted experience, not just a code sandbox. Java feels like raw scaffolding: powerful, but sterile. Bedrock feels like a corporate cash grab. The Harsh TruthJava players will tell you their edition is “superior” because it has mods and better redstone. But half of them are running potato PCs at 20 FPS, and the other half spend more time installing Optifine than actually playing.Bedrock players brag about “cross-play,” but what good is playing together when the core game is watered down, riddled with bugs, and built around microtransactions? That’s not unity — that’s collective suffering.Legacy Console Stands Above AllLegacy Console was:Polished.Accessible.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
