Doing the first part is easy and cheap. The second is way more immersive, but a ton more expensive in terms of all resources. If the stuff in the 2nd isn';t of interest to you, it will seem wasteful to bother and that's the conclusion that corpos come to as well, when the 1st is 'good enough'. SC is trying to do the second, and I'd rather them risk it or take time; there are other 'easier path' projects.

Just got around to beating this game on my backlog. Was a ridiculously long game (like 70ish hours to beat most of the stuff).It was fun, was able to beat like 95% of the puzzles without looking at hints, but some of the reflexes required for this made me feel my unc status. It's a fools errand, you'll hit a wall with all of them and only have 2-6 orders (maximum) for the preppers, along with a SIX IN-GAMEPLAY HOURS reset for those 2-6 orders.It's not worth it beyond the achievement. Move on when you hit 4 stars and continue the story. The late game story has you backtrack to earlier ones which'll help jump them to 5 stars anyway, so you're not missing much moving on and waiting until "post-game" or near end-game to slam all the preppers to 5.

I actually tried playing this. I pick a generic character, and go through the tutorial. It's piss-easy, but whatever, it's teaching mechanics. Graphics are good, and I am cautiously optimistic about the sci-fi setting. I load into the main hub, and there's some kind of winter wonderland shit going on, completely ruining whatever immersion I had. The cool sci-fi base is covered in banners, ads and christmas decorations. Whatever, I start trying to banter with randoms, but 2/3rds of all my messages are blocked, because the clueless fucking Koreans have an absolutely niggardly retarded keyword detector that will block 90% of messages. I wasn't calling anyone nigger or anything, they were completely non-chanlike messages. I think "fuck it" and go do some missions, loading into a generic field with pylons and shit that I interract with. The main antagonist of this series of encounters is a scary alien called "Greg". Everything is easy, and I am rewarded by a differently coloured gun with higher numbers than my previous gun.I go back to the main hub and try sending a message, which gets blocked. I then quit and uninstall the game.
