I'm gonna start playing this, is it like the first game where I have to focus on one type of weapon or enemies destroy me, or can I switch between melee, bullet and energy weapons?

Tales of Destiny 2 is also fantastic and the PSP version has a good deal of extra content like colisseum battles

I don't remember much but you can use your head part for melee or an energy nuke. Guns kind of suck.
