>>680659897Theres a guide on steam thats fairly close to what we did, we just had different issues and the commands were structured different because we aren't insane. Running the server under wine but also under an X server because valve fucked something up. First it was hanging on initialization because it couldnt open the HLTV ports. After disabling HLTV it was throwing a generic "failed to authenticate" error due to missing dll's. We think when the game was initially installed it didnt install everything or was just grabbing shit for linux64 for whatever reason so it didnt grab essential dll's. After that it booted just fine, metamod also crashed looped because it kept trying to load the 64bit version despite the game being 32bit. Some weird shit was scuffed but its running now.
Bump because this game deserves and needs it.
