I'm thinking of buying Ninja Gaiden Master Collection on Steam, but recent reviews are mixed, what's up with that?Never played NG games before. My impression is from magazine reviews from my teens that it's super difficult and super violent.

>>681384386It's a lazy port but I think there are mods for different resolutions and gore/blood effects. It runs fine at least. The vanilla NG2 runs fine on Xenia too if you care about the versions.
Definitely up there in difficulty although ALOT of the first 2 games can be cheesed pretty easily but it still requires some decent reflexes. Be prepared to use flying swallow and guillotine throw for most of 1 and 2, dont remember much ab 3
