It's ultimately a 20-ish hour adventure that gives you non-stop storytelling, something that's depressingly rare unless you're a Snoy first-party trannyera flop with forced marketing and forced characters.That's the only reason I dug this. Otherwise I'd call it out for having bottom-tier shit story-writing and cringe dialogue, but given the average state of this fucking industry, it actually looks decent from here.

Sacrificing Arcadia Bay is the morally correct choice based on how the universe's internal logic operates. Max isn't responsible for the storm. The universe spontaneously gave her time powers against her will then threw an epic bitch fit when she used them to save someone's life. Then the whole game keeps acting as if Max MUST go back so Chloe can die. But that means the universe is just fucking with Max for shits and giggles.Imagine getting superpowers against your will and then when you save a life the universe fingerwags you about how you really shouldn't do that sorta thing and now you have to actively participate in this person's retroactive murder or this storm is going to rip your town a new asshole. It's not Max's fault the universe threw a bitch fit. Deciding "no, I'm not going to this autistic universe what it wants" is the correct action. Especially since going back would also erase all the good Max did in between. So while Arcadia Bay gets creamed, the changes Max made can stand as opposed to just not mattering.The universe dropped Max into a trolley problem of it's own creation and then blamed her for the oncoming train. Fuck you, I'm not pulling that switch.
Played it, it's aight. Similar to a Telltale game. Heard if you get into it there's a great story that can make you cry. I like the different paths you could choose but lost interest once the powers and all that weird shit came into play. I'm talking about Life is Strange 1. Can't talk about the series after that but it looks really stupid.
