1. Because "sex sells" isn't actually true, at least for video games. The most profitable video game franchises are either devoid or do not rely on sex appeal, and are actively removing them and still being more profitable than ever. This is likely a byproduct of games being seen as toys for kids, so that reliance on sex was rooted out from the onset.2. Video games are dominated by the male audience, and obviously gays within that male audience will always be an extreme minority. So sexy males have little appeal and do not appeal to the majority3. Female sexuality is not as reliant on visual stimuli as male sexuality which is practically all visual. For example female sexuality is more rooted in literary than just visual, hence why so many women are into written erotica instead of porn videos. So just slapping naked men won't really do the trick as much as you'd think anyway because how women engage in sexual content is just fundamentally different from men. This is your reminder that men and women are not the same.
