They're also following up on reports and banning cheaters, from prominent ones to even random goons that joined steam groups.The cheats themselves are still working so presumably part of this is manual bans handled by steam jannies and part of it is automated by whatever valve worked on

In case you're unaware you attain weapons via random drops that happen based on your playtime that week and reach a cap. The drop thing resets on a weekly basis but you'll either have to craft weapons which is tedious and not reccomended or you buy 2 keys of the mann co store sell them on a trade site and be able to buy all the weapons you want and some hats on the side
