It is a VN, and it's a badly translated one at that.The only Konosuba games worth a damn are the dungeon crawler (which isn't translated) and the free 2D one by Team Ladybug (which has a fan translation).

It's definitely not worth the money, but it's kind of a relaxing time with a subpar translation as was already mentioned. The "game" parts is just resource gathering and it's basically just there to pad out time and prevent you from seeing everything in one playthrough.If you're a huge Konosuba fan then I think it's a nice experience to spend more time with the characters, just don't expect any groundbreaking VN experience but rather one that's relaxing and very funny at times as you'd expect.
