I honestly got really lucky on the hippo. I was omega underpowered from having no fragments but managed to stagger him right as he would be going into phase 2 and barely killed him.
If I didn't I could see it taking ages to kill as well.

So far the only one I struggled with is fucking Bayle. I have no idea why people keep saying he's the best fight, it's just a giant shit that's never in range, spamming aoes that blind you so you can't even see the next move. Finally managed to kill hi at 19 skibidis and I feel like shit

putrescent knight had such a weird hitbox and Was so obnoxious to hit, I caved in and just used the storm blade ash of war. Didn’t feel guilty in the slightest

Once I full embraced monke and just started jump R2'ing with my Giant crusher at every opportunity, I killed divine beast on my 4th try ~~on NG+ cause I'm an idiot~~. I don't understand why people are struggling with this fight.
