Okay okay, let's all calm down with the open world hate for a second. There ARE good open world games, like Morrowind, which is probably into the top 5 games of all time. Maybe the older GTA games but I don't really like those.

>>681517887Indeed, op. I think it's mainly an attention span problem. It's to be expected from people who need to be on their phone even while watching a movie or something. I don't think they actually want adventure games, just fast paced arcade experience and flashing lights.
