It's funny how for the gameplay showcase, they mostly just used Byakuya. Makes sense. Ichigo doesn't exactly have a lot of techniques, especially his Shikai. How far is the story mode gonna stretch, anyway? All the way to the end? Gameplay-wise, Ichigo kinda runs into a brick wall after the Aizen arc. Up to that point, he basically has like three main modes: Shikai, Bankai, Visored. But after the X-cution arc he stops using his Hollow Mask, meaning he loses one of his three modes. And, frankly, the Thousand Year Blood War arc is a total dead end for him since he barely fights in it. We never really get to see what his Bankai does so he's basically losing all of his old tricks and all he gets in exchange is Double Getsuga.

Fulbring was great because it brought power levels back down, grounded characters more, and put the mc through a level of psychological torture that was actually decently uncomfortable and a fight that until the end he couldn't just stab his way out of like he had been doing.I put it pretty close in quality to the ghost buster and soul society arcs in terms of quality.
