this game is an unbalanced mess. Ranged heroes have a huge advantage, flyers even more. Mobility is king in a game where there's no dedicated dodge or sprint command. This is partly what helped TF2 stay balanced! How the hell is Black Panther supposed to survive with 250 and a melee kit that deals the same as a gun?

After every mission your team will be in a communal area and you can speak to them and engage in things like a book club where all the characters interact with each other. The grounds of the hub also have exploration stuff that is also optional, but tells you about the story of the main villain. You can mostly skip these and just go straight to your bed and start the next days missions but they're not that bad.

However, you do have mandatory filler missions you need to do in-between story missions, but it's usually just a single mission. If you can get it for cheap (with the Season pass, genuinely adds a lot) and you like capeshit, I can definitely recommend it, the combat's really unique and the social sim aspect is...I don't know how to describe it...Soulful cringe maybe? There's a lot of it and it is entertaining, if you can stomach the insanely bad dialogue every now and then (stuff like Wolverine saying that something smells like "The Devil's prostate", like, wtf) that is. Oh yeah and the game is also super ugly at times, PS3-tier.

There used to be so much counterplaying and on the fly character swapping and now everyone just locks in and does the same thing over and over (maybe one guy on your team switches a character at some point... super fun!).
