Highly recommend you go the vrpirates wiki and join the trannycord, we have an amazing application called rookie's sideloader that will make pirating almost any quest game, including some multiplayer a breeze. Putting your headset into dev mode is the only requirement and it's stupidly easy to do.

nobody is making pcvr games currently, and to top it off index uses fresnel lenses which are vastly inferior in visual clarity. Just get the quest 3. We're even about to have a hitman game here in a couple of weeks that'll be quest 3 exclusive.

If you've never had a VR headset I would do the Moss games and Eleven table tennis. Once you get your sea legs then get into the half life games. 1, 2, alyx.

Not at all, there's zero downsides. dev mode just unlocks the ability to sideload any apk, because quest 3 is just simply android. vrpirates renames the packages and there's almost never drm in any games, so its usually just a matter of installing them and obtaining the game files to install.

You either get nauseous or you don't. And if you do the only way to make it better is to keep trying to play games with stick movement and getting through your nausea. Not guaranteed to fully go away either, but it will mostly go away, that's for sure
