Geese being already dead is primarily what makes his whole shtick fall to pieces.If Geese were alive he'd have something to focus all this rage and "I will never be like you!" on. But since Geese died when he was just a kid it makes him out to be someone who's angsty over their lineage but also willingly steers into it while simultaneously dreading that doing so is destroying any virtue they might have.
