>>683720505Obvious suggestion is other games by thecatamites if you haven't tried them yet, he's done a lot of smaller stuff.Other than that, only old flash games come to mind, though I can hardly recall their names now. One of my personal favourites is Apples in the tree, though its style might be a bit on the fancy side, still pretty simple I think. I remember one cute and weird point and click game called something like "balloon headed girl". Then there was lots of cool stickman styled stuff like xiaoxiao and fancypants.Also Candybox 2 is a browser game with some nice simple ASCII art.

My first exposure to the concept of 'zines' was Exapunks cause it did a fun little thing where you were supposed to print off a couple of issues of an in-game publication and use them as physical reference material for some of the puzzles, plus they contained a bunch of extra flavor stuff. Of course you could just read them in PDF form too but where's the fun in that.
