I don't get it. Why is this popular?

It seems like an autobattler where you have extremely diverse build options. you really don't do more than

I've only played the demo, but it does seem to become an auto-battler with all the counter abilities on everything
it's apparently supposed to be an "explosive" RL, with how quickly one side fucks the other
