I use it almost everytime I replay the game, it's cool whenever I want to get max humanity to grind for an item or when I'm short on souls for a specific material or whatever

Early FPS games had tons of those, e.g. rocket jumping and bunny hopping in Quake 1 onwards, completely unintended, just physics glitches originally.
