Games you played as a child and you're fond of, even no one talks about them nowadays.
>>683722553
>>683722553Such a good game with pretty good graphics for the time. But nooooooOo. Banjofags have deemed it a bad Banjo game so therefore it is a bad game in it's entirety! Its a shame bros.
>>683723225it's alright until you unlock enough parts to make a "do-all" vehicle, after which the game becomes painfully repetitive and mind numbing.good music.>>683723240based, shockwave had some bangers
>>683722970Shit, it's so good. I remember playing the demo for 20+ hours and once I got Coolboarders 2 and 3, i enjoyed it for years.
>>683722553I had the PC release of this one.It was my favorite at the time, together with the free-roam official spider man game.
Need to revisit this someday. I never knew what I was doing.Pretty sure this was actually some kind of high level virtual life autism sim, that was disguised as a game for kids.
As a third worlder, this was the only way I played Mortal Kombat back then. They also made a Street Fighter bootleg for the chinese NES clones of that time.
There's something about itIt's hard to explain
>>683723939Bootleg classic.
>>683723680This is amazing, what else you got?
>>683725072Like that? There's a Creatures 3, which I never played much of.As for kid's PC games, I used to play a lot of Little Big Adventure, and Lego Island. I had something called 3D Logic Quest, which I guess was some kind of shovelware dungeon builder. I had a point and click adventure, based on a kid's book called The Haunted House. I had a demo for something called Cyberspeed, which I guess is ostensibly a racing game, but really more of an on-rails shooter.
>>683722553I think I'll try and emulate it
>>683726012The soundtrack to this game is kind of sick, actuallyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xgj9ZfkQWU
>>683723084The thumbnail made the rating look like an M>>683722970Was this the one with the avalanche level?
>>683722553I really liked that Bug's Life game as a kid, but playing it again as an adult was kind of a slog. The levels are massive and have a lot to do and collect on paper, but a lot of it is backtracking and padding. As a kid I didn't mind since game being longer was always a bonus, but now the levels really outstay their welcome. Still, it definitely is among the top tier of licensed games.
>>683722553Hogs of War
You could make your own little guy and the ending tied directly into the start of that online flash game
>>683722553Really liked that game
>>683722553on imac g3's
A fun game where you try to grab up more money than you already have as Scrooge while Glomgold tries to do the same. You could select levels with different gameplay from all across the world, ranging from reaction minigames to platforming challenges and puzzles. You are racing against Glomgold, and that asshole might complete some levels and take the treasure, locking it out of the run. The mummy levels were the only thing in vidya that has ever given me nightmares, I always avoided playing them.
>>683727870I loved those lil guys as a kid, I still haven't forgiven my dad for throwing out all my lego including my bionicle's
>>683723240hell yeah
>>683722553JUUUUUUUST PICKING UP GRAIN
>>683723240Holy sovl. The theme is still stuck in my head to this day kek
>>683728576you should beat him up
>>683727131https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMGOuOocQX0Hnnnnnnnnnnngggg!
>>683722553The best Gauntlet game, yet for some reason the devs were too retarded to realize when they had a winning formula. Cheesy voice acting, but very memorable and charming as a result. Nothing can be sincere anymore, a new one would just be shitty Marvel quips. The reboot like 10 years ago was pretty good, but way more like Gauntlet IV than DL/Legends.
>>683728869Found out recently some of the different versions of this are kind of different games.
>>683728987I've played both Legends and DL in the arcade, N64, GC, and PS2.The GC version is by far the most feature rich, but the inventory system breaks the intended balancing of most power-ups being timed/limited.
The soundtrack of this game is pretty great
>>683728519amazing
>>683722553>These berries, WON'T work
>>683727870I tried played this the other day. Seems neat but I got filtered by all the fucking respawning enemies.
>>683722553imagine being British and not knowing what this game is

>>683727870i thought bionicle was dead but i've head a lot of people talking about Hauk Tu'ah
>>683722553I bring this game up every single time I see a Twisted Metal thread. Nobody ever talks about it even in those threads.
>>683728869Gauntlet was such a goated franchise and this one was the best like you said. But honestly I didn't hate the one that came out on the xbox, it got shit reviews but it was Gauntlet. You knew what you were getting, plus online was great
I miss when liking animals was rad and not weird internet lgbt degeneracy.
>>683730835>I miss when liking animals was rad and not weird internet lgbt degeneracy.what the FUCK are you babbling about?
>>683723225>muh graphixShame about the game being shit but I understand that kids have no tastes

>>683730698Seven Sorrows was fine. But I'd rather play IV or the reboot.
>>683732394I've only ever played the N64 one, but I really liked it.Fighting game with a campaign, equipment, and RPG elements is really underutilized in the genre.
Brave Fencer Musashi was my jamI had a childhood crush on Bubbles
>>683731445>>683732427holy shit this unlocked a memory
>>683731821Broken how? I've beaten the game 100% numerous times on hard mode (Captain) with every character, including the unlockable ones. Some characters are harder to use than others, so I can probably see why someone would think that.
>>683722553A bug's life and toy's story 2 on ps1 were Disney classics and it's funny how they're both games where you're playing as a minuscule protagonist in normal locations but from their point of view. And despite them being so small you have quite a large and long distance rendering in those games even for playstation 1 standards. No fog bullshit. in the living room which seems gigantic in toy's story you can see everything to the other side of the room, you can go in the park and see the towering tree from the ground and all that.
This game was great at the time, and while it isn't as fun to play anymore the concept is still great and I'd love another game made with the exact same concept. Spinning around wrecking shit as Taz is fun and it should lean more into that and lose the transformations which tend to be clunky and massively slow things down. The music kicking into a rock remix when you start spinning is still awesome even now. My favorite spin theme:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dkeQqL2Kiw

>>683727872What a beautiful game, the 2D background always blends perfectly with the part of the level rendered under your eyes. You have this impression of gigantism in the canyon it's neat.
>>683723084Fun fact; This game was designed by David Jaffe. Creator of the God of War series.
>>683732394There was a famicom one called “hiryuu no Ken special: fighting wars” that I played a lot on some emulation website. It was a cool game but I couldn’t get past the second tournament I think
>>683730665kek
>>683734923maybe, or I'm missing something that makes it harder.
I wish I could play this and all the other WildTangent games again.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kjz51STVsvo
based
>>683735675>or I'm missing something that makes it harder. It's basically Twisted Metal but with a third dimension, so it's definitely more complex.
>>683722553It's up there as one of the best 3D platformers of all time. I have yet to see anyone do puzzle-platforming as well as this game did.But I insist on playing the N64 version instead, because it's better than mpeg1 movie clips and>GRAIN GRAIN GRAIN>GRAIN GRAIN GRAIN>GRAIN GRAIN GRAIN>F L I K THAT'S FLIKShut the fuck up blueberry ass.
>>683722553>>683722970are you me?
>>683722553This game was awful
Silent Bomber for the PS1. I've still never beaten the final boss though.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YWfMSg0sMk
Made it all the way to the end as a kid until the thumb wrestling thing where dude just straight up punches you in the face if you start to win. Didn't realize until recently you could press a bottom to block. I'll have to grab it again some day.
>>683738107Filtered
>>683735840>WildTangentFuck them. They trashed a really cool sci-fi game and reused the name for a shitty MMO.
>>683727872I can hear the music. Ah, the OST is really good.
>>683722553I played the PC version of this gameThe canyon level with the bird still haunts my dreams to this day
>>683727872Core memory unlocked
>>683722553Mum bought this because she sometimes played vidya, but she didn't really like it, so it was handed down to meMy favourite game of all time
>>683727872Never understood why critics thought this was a bad game. Probably got stuck.
>>683722553I NEED MORE GRAIN!Anyway, I'm the only human to have ever played this game.
>>683732427>>683731445Sexy ball...
>>683734395>"moo sashi? gahahaha!"
Claw is a great platformer and pure sovl. Genuinely wonder why it simply faded into obscurity.
>>683723240
>>683741343Brother.
I fucking love this game. I mean, it's absolute dogshit to play, but fuck you it's amazing.
>>683722553This was the first game I got with my PS1 for my birthday. I had played other ps2 games at cousins and friends before like MGS and Tomb Raider and Tekken 2 but this was the first game I got with my PS1. The soundtrack was pretty decent.
>>683722553One and only. Jets'n'Guns was juicy as fuck and had so many warcrimes it could make US Army blush. Also robot nipple in one mission splash screen. I don't have it on me.https://youtu.be/AzghtkL11rY
