III was supposed to be DLC for II, but hacktivision decided to inflate the development into its own title, when the "campaign" is just a bunch of singleplayer Warzone missions, or really just one big tutorial for Warzone itself. Also all the gunplay is now worse and the TTK is higher and the graphics are starting to take the direction that Siege did after Season 2. The only thing III had going for it is that all of your unlocks and content from MWII carry over, but that's pretty much where it stops.
