>>683741189Bioshock Before Bioshock, gameplay wise it's bioshock 2 lite, you have magic in your right hand and a gun on your left hand, bioshock 2 team were clearly influenced by undying, the atmosphere is ungodly, the artstyle is mindblowing for 2001, the story is solid, music and sound design are fantastic, the level design is godtier, extremely memorable levels, each unique and diverse without departing from their lovecraftian aura. It's a forgotten gem and among the top 5 greatest fps games.

Never played 2, only 1 on the 360 and later replayed on PC and Infinite once through on PC at launch. Maybe after Arkham Asylum replay Ill do Bioshock 1 into 2.

Even though it was pretty hamfisted, the appeal to emotion with the 'being a father' stuff really got to me in Bioshock. 1 and 2. The ending of 1 was really, REALLY hamfisted, but it still got me tearing up for being such a happy ending.
