There's outliers that outperform everyone else like Hela and Punisher and then head scratchers like Storm who's a Lucio in the dps role (who's also an extremely slow flyer). Probably the biggest appeal is that it has a more "free" design approach, if OW hammers down every nail and wants a "clean" experience, Rivals has wackier mechanics as a result of them not being afraid of a little jank. Peni is pretty unique, Spidey feels like what Blizz tried Doomfist to be. There's also little to no abilities that control you, counterpicking doesn't really exist (so far), all CC lasts a very short amount of time and lots of characters across all roles have mobility options.Team-ups are probably the biggest ??? for me atm. Weak characters without one suffer, strong characters with them are even more oppressive. Punisher is retarded atm, you can pair him up with Rocket for infinite bullets/faster rite, and then you can combo Rocket with Groot to make it a lot harder to take Rocket down. I like it, but also makes me wonder what it'll look like on launch.
I like the game but sometimes tank vs tank is just goofy like its not uncommon for tanks to just stop mid fight and then dive the backline.
