The storyline of RDR2 is really terrible and full of questions. For the plot to make sense, Hosea should have died because of Dutch's selfish plan. However, Hosea died because of a plan he devised himself. Dutch is not to blame for anything in the game, and Micah is, at best, an ordinary villain

He felt that his time was done, and pushed through that last desperate heist in Saint Denis, hoping that it would all go according to plan and that they would get away with it. Unfortunately for him, things wouldn't go that way.
