You could argue Darkwing was a spinoff from Ducktales for Launchpad, but he was originally pitched as the lead for DW and then replaced, so you can't really say it was 'his' show.For video games? The Patrick Show is significantly better than most of current SpongeBob, both still suffer from the problem of making 11 minutes feel like 4, and generally discarding the sense that the shows take place underwater. And of course, being excessively committed to recapitulating classic episodes. They've made a habit of making new episodes essentially be "Remember this?" "This was in the old episode you liked!" Most recently with PL-1413, which retreads SB-129, in the most general sense. Plankton goes to the future from SB-129 (by being locked in a time capsule for 2000 years. They should have had Plankton invent a time machine to retrieve the Formula from the future after it becomes public domain, or something like that.) The SpongeTrons are not in the episode and it primarily revolves around Plankton passively being shown future equivalents of Bikini Bottom landmarks before future Sandy, who's the Kamp Koral version because they thought it would be funny, sends him back to the past with amnesia, where he gets trapped in the time capsule again in a closed time loop. It just feels derived and tired, and it really makes me wonder why they've never tried to make a new event special out of a deliberate effort to replicate the feeling of the early seasons, because I'm sure that would do well. BassWard got closer to that than anything else has and I was hopeful that it was a sign of a return to form to come.
