Shortly after Shadow of the Colossus came out, my friend wanted me to play it so badly that he bought me a copy, and then we went to his house and ate an entire party tray of salted garlic wings from the local Chinese place and drank an entire case of Bawls while I played through the whole thing in one sitting. I was captivated with the last guardian but if you've ever had a dog that kind of listens to you some of the time but also just ignores you when it feels like it, that's what the experience is like and that's awful for a puzzle game where you might have the right answer and just get false negatives because he's not doing the actionthis came up during one part in particular where he needed to pull on a chain to raise a gate and I had to slide a cart through, and I knew I set everything up right but he was just batting the chain around and playing with it, occasionally tugging it but never pulling it high enough to get underI had to look up what I was missing because I tried everything and it turns out, nope I did everything right and I just need to wait for the AI to randomly pull on the chain long enough for the gate to raisefuck that gamealso dormin did nothing wrong
