Why are the giant kaiju-sized monster bosses almost always easier than the humanoid sized enemies in souls games?

Because they are harder to design.

Giant kaiju-sized monster bosses are always either gimmick based, or outright dogshit. There are exceptions to this of course, but most of the time, it's just like that.

Zanzibart remains the greatest fight in gaming history

Name one game with the trope on the bottom

Ocarina of Time

these stupid games force you to stick to their pelvis to hit them which means that all their attacks are either easy to avoid due to poor tracking or they have to flop around like a retard to hit you, in either case its poor design and not fun. the only really fun colossal boss i fought in ER was rykard because you could stand far away and hit him, he was still too easy though.
