I recently re-watched Ring 1, 0 and 2 and The Ring 1 and 2. The Ring 2 is absolutely the worst of them all and i have no idea how they fumbled it this hard compared to the first one. The original Japanese trilogy hasn't aged all that well: it has horrible pacing issues, the acting and writing is extremely stiff and unnatural, but thanks to them we received the best and now iconic version of Sadako. The Ring 1 is objectively the better movie of them all and it still holds up really well today as a one off viewing.
