What happened to Miquella and Godwyn? What happened to Miquella’s Haligtree? If Miquella enchanted Mohg from inside the Haligtree, how did he do it? Did St. Trina assist him, and if so, why did he toss her away if she was fully supportive and complicit in his plans? If Miquella was stolen and the Haligtree failed as a result, why did he not try to build another Haligtree since it was clearly working? Why does Miquella abandon his flesh twice, once in the Mohgwyn palace and again in the Land of Shadow? When was Miquella stolen? Since the DLC confirms he was present at the battle between Malenia and Radahn, does that mean he cocooned himself in the Haligtree afterwards, and somehow Mohg broke in and stole him with all of Malenia’s and Miquella’s troops there after the battle? If Miquella charmed Mohg before being stolen, why cocoon himself in the first place? Did he cocoon himself with the plan of his Haligtree failing and being stolen? If Malenia knows Miquella plans to enter the Land of Shadow, why is she waiting in the Haligtree for his return when everyone knows Mohg stole him? Why doesn’t Malenia kill Mohg since that’s part of Miquella’s plan? Why are none of Miquella’s followers present during the Radahn festival since killing Radahn is also part of Miquella’s plan?

That's how little they cared.The Elden Ring main game is its own thing, and the DLC is a completely separate thing that should barely be considered part of ER. Ironically unlike Miquella's role which was the "focus", most other things in the dlc can actually mesh with the base game.
